I’m definitely going to be one of those stereotypical old ladies: pasty white skin, but never without my shiny red lips! I look like a cadaver without my lipstick, and I shall never be without it!
The beauty aid I cannot live without is happiness. When i feel happy which is anything from glee to simple contentment , I look way better!
It is a makeover…call me an open book but I believe emotions do show up on your face, in your posture, in your gait.
So i could live on the desert island without all of the above but I would need some good days to be beautiful, inside and out
Thank you for asking
After 9/11 when tweezers were banned, I had to buy them in every city I traveled to for business. Then leave them when I got on the plane home. I seriously considered a line item in my budget for tweezers…and a tax deduction with the IRS! :-D
I was about to pick blow dryer so I wouldn’t look like I was wearing a stringy ski-cap all the time, but then realized without tweezers or Nair I’d look like Groucho Marx.
Again, like someone else did, I checked the gloss box because its the nearest thing to moisturiser. But I’d really like to see hand cream on the list: I can live without (in fact have never used) most of the things on the list, but handcream lives in every room and in every bag in my home and life. And a chapstick in a pocket of every coat.
I voted for foundations, but never use it. I cannot live without my Boots #7 Restore and Renew. Watching CNN online one day, I saw women queuing around the block to get this. Now I know why! I’ve gotten my whole family using it too now-even the sister with facial Lupus loves their products. I’m sadly addicted to a bunch of their products, and its only available in stores at Target-and I have to go online and check if they have any in stock before I go, they are always out! I think women look fine without makeup, guys do. so I don’t wear too much, and can live without makeup, really. I cannot live with lines and crows feet, so cannot live without Boots!
Ya’ll I wish you would have included the Purell on there to chose from! Sunglasses, soap (regular bar or liquid and Purell types) and deodorant is right up there as well for me. And of course moisturizer for the hands, body and face is probably Numbero Uno for moi. I can safely live without the rest of the list as make-up has never mattered to me. Although the blow dryer does come in quite handy from time to time on a cold winter’s day. And the tweezers do come in handy now and again (no pun intended) when I get a splinter in a finger or toe.
The best beauty aid isn’t packaged. It’s a smile. The time will come when you won’t be able to tweeze the chin hairs or apply the lip gloss, but the smile will never fail you.
Actually, it’s a toss between the tweezers and the lip gloss/balm. Both are must haves and I can’t do without either. Personally, moisturizer should have been a choice as well.
