One of those negative pregnants, eh. No option for not watching? As i’ve said, the whole rest of the world puts on a pair of shorts and gym shoes (when they have ‘em) and go out and play soccer. We, on the other hand, have to have armor on; we try to kill each other; have to take drugs for the pain. It doesn’t count unless it’s on television. And all over a ball that isn’t even round. I never watch football.

LOL, no kidding, Mugsy, you sum up my take on football perfectly, and I always trip on how a contest between a couple dozen US and 2 Canadian ball teams is called a “World Series” :)

It’s a good ‘excuse’ for going to a party to simply have fun without worrying about business or social networking.

Just like the days of Miss America, the Rose Bowl Parade in Pasadena, and all the rest, those days of sitting on the sofa staring at the TV are things of the past. So many of us have long since moved on, sated by much ado about nothing, and instead have found other pleasures that fulfill us in more memorable ways. I already know they will THIS year!!!

No time for that boring nonsense. I have better things to do. I’d rather be working.

Mindlessness. I’d rather watch The L Word or…go to WORK.

Tradition, must check out the commericals and always a great way to spend a cold ugly afternoon/evening in the Great NorthEast !! Here’s to an exciting game.

LOL Margorie, I know just what you mean. I usually get in a football pool so have a vested interest in at least the score, if not a team. Yep, will watch even football for money :)
