Hi Agyness,
So good of you to reply.
I am not going to be growing a thing. Just pulling out all the grass, and then putting down pebble rock.
I may put ceramic pots of cactus or such here and there, on top of the pepple rock.
But am not going to grow anything in the ground.
It is supposed to rain tonight. Maybe I’ll put down a few stacks of the white copy paper to test it.
If it lets water through, as well as newspaper does, yet keeps the grass and weeds from coming back, that’s what I want to know.
Thanks for writing!

I’m with you NP… that’s why I’m responding to the above in this thread instead of the other!
Hi DeBurca,
It’s especially nice to hear from you.
I had to hold myself back from further posting on that thread today!
Thank you for your words.
Best,
my husband loves it so much that i get caught up. and i enjoy having the kids around. the oldest boy and his girlfriend are both football nuts. they’re funny to watch. so mostly it’s just having my family around and enjoying themselves that i like.
I’m in Pittsburgh and the good guys are the Steelers in this one dear. Watching the game gives a nice relief. To see these men work hard for their money and put themselves in physical harm provides us entertainment. While I have layers of ice and snow in my yard it is nice to be able to be surrounded by family and firends cheering for a common great cause. Plus this year is a historic year, when we win, it will be the 1st team in history to win 6 Super Bowls.
Go Steelers!
Woo Hoo the boys from the burgh did it! 27/23 Final, that’s good football. I love Pittsburgh, the incline, Century Inn…where my husband flew me in for my birthday. I knew then he was a keeper and we returned again on our 5th anniversary!!! He’s been wearing #43 all week.
1st to win 6 Super Bowls with the youngest coach in history! Big Ben #7 is only 27 years old. Ya gotta love Hines Ward, always a smile and a tear as he held his son in the celebration afterward. I raise my Bloody Mary in toast to the great town. Enjoy the victory Steeler Nation! I understand the public schools will open later tomorrow, enjoy the parade!!! Gotta buy Bella a pink jersey…maybe Holmes MVP #10.
Barbara: have to ask… who is your Hockey Team ???? I’m an old football fan..but my LuvBubble got me hooked on hockey.. and wow.. football is sooo slow compared to Hockey.. but still love the game =) .. also I should have noted on my above.. Feb 1st will be the watching the Super Bowl in the cold/snowy NE.. but Feb 15th it’s off on the big silver bird to my 1st trip to Aruba.. Warm/Sun/Fun.. anyone have any tips on Aruba..
