I don’t watch the Superbowl, but I do take care of all the preparations for the “sports fanatics” in my household.
I have all the snacks and beer stashed away in the pantry, I will make them a platter of nacho’s and a sourdough breadbowl filled with my wonderful yummy spinach dip.
When the game starts, I disappear upstairs, to where my own treats await me, and I will make myself all comfy on the bed snuggled up in my duvet with the 5 dogs. I will plug in my favorite chick flick of all time, “Gone With the Wind”, my Superbowl tradition.
Hurray! I get to not watch this year - my husband is working that day, which means THEANTI-SUPERBOWLPARTY at our house! (or I can go to the Mall - it’s always so nice and empty on Superbowl Sunday)
I watch the game only if the Packers are playing. I used to watch when they weren’t, just for the ads, but now you can see the ads on the ‘net, so I skip the game these days.
This is the first time in over a decade I have not been addicted to football. I’m usually glued to the TV football season, screaming, yelling and throwing things. However now that Brett Farve is no longer with the Green Bay Packers, I have no desire to watch football. I knew he was going to leave eventually, but I wasn’t prepared for how he departed. Maybe I’ll get my desire back next year,,,,,,
The percentage of people watching the game in the poll above tells me there are more men on this site in drag than previously thought! hah
Football, ick. I know some women like it, but I have always seen it simply as play-war. And I don’t find it very appealing. Different strokes I guess.
Just a funny thought MA,
Try watching a game on TV. Stick with it long enough to see all those women in the stadium that not only paid to see their teams play they’re hootin and hollering right along with their counterparts (The men)!
