If we solved the war in Iraq we might have the money and energy to solve the other problems.

All of the above. And then some.

All of the above. But, what are we supposed to do when over $12 Billion a month is going to the war in Iraq?! We have infrastructure problems that we can add to the list.

For me the “and then some” = TRUTH. Let’s tell the truth about global warming, going to war, how you cut the size of government by cutting jobs of inspectors - USDA, FDA, and other watch dog agencies rather than waste. Who visited with decision makers before laws were written. A little truth would be a nice change!

That damned ill-conceived war that should never have happened—Bush and his cronies has a lot to answer for to the American people and the dead young women and men who should never have been there.

All of the above. I agree with you Mugsy. Health care is the most pressing for me personally.

Iraq. I worry for the people in Iraq who have had their lives turned upside down and yet they are steadfast in working toward making Iraq a place to raise their children in peace. There are so many heroes there that we never here about. I worry about our young men and woman who have been sent into a war that never should have been and how it has damaged their futures and the future of everyone that knows and loves them. I pray that the next administration, in the White House, will make the healing of our returning vetrens and national guard a priority - they have surved with such devotion that nothing should be denied them. And I pray that God will aid this great country in healing the wrongs which have been commited by the few who pretend to represent the American people.

You mean the legacy that gave us peace, prosperity and a surplus?

But the Clintons also handed us a bill for 1 trillion dollars of “delayed maintenance” for our military and intelligence operations resulting in 911. They stole from peter to pay paul - and we were left vulnerable. Our friend was the co-pilot on the second plane to hit the world trade center - we get to watch him die, over and over.

blame the Clintons for 9/11? ya think your friend was alive? on the ‘end-run’? fat chance—-your reasoning is rather flawed—-who was prez when these jerks were learning to ‘crash’ a jet—-not Clinton—-

Babette dYveine - 5/20/2008 5:37 AM You mean the legacy that gave us peace, prosperity and a surplus? The surplus that came at an unbearable cost—cutting the military.

Godessa: I must have memory loss, I thought we were left with prosperity now China own us, we have and invasion and occupation to worry about and people left and right are losing their houses. Am I thinking correctly or am I just losing it. ?
