I agree, it is truly time for a change, Lord knows we have all suffered the consequences of testosterone laden solutions and decisions; But I could not vote for someone who seems to have no integrity or authenticity, regardless of their gender. As much as I would love to see a woman in the oval office, I cannot vote for Hilary.

I believe this question is really about which of them can beat McCain…that’s what it’s all about. It’s totally incomprehensible to me that race or gender has become the issue. Realistically of course they’re important issues, but the economy is really what’s important. My worst nightmare is McCain, a republican back in the oval office! The democrates have got to get this right. No more gender or race talk, let’s just honestly figure out which of them can WIN in November.

As a lifelong Republican who did not vote for George W. Bush either time, I just switched to the Democratic Party so I can vote in the PA primary. Yes, I would like to see a woman president, however, my vote will be for what I think is best for our country which is Obama.

In my opinion the strongest ticket would be Obama/Edwards. Although I’m a lifelong feminist and would like to see a woman in the White House, I believe that Sen. Obama has the integrity, intelligence and leadership qualities the country needs right now. Also, I’m tired of Bill’s rants…it seems obvious that he wants to be the shadow president.

I was a staunch Hillary supporter until it became clear that she will do or say anything to win the nomination, including win the nomination but lose in November. By 2009, George W. Bush will have increased the national debt to $10 TRillion. Including the costs for the wars, his 2009 deficit will be well over $700 billion. John McCain proposes spending that will add at least $200 billion a year to that deficit, offset by about 5 percent by cuts to federal programs benefiting the poor, the sick, the elderly, and children. We can’t AFFORD another “Replutocrat” president — and Hillary would rather see McCain in the White House than a man who agrees with her on 99 percent of all issues!

Obama/Bloomberg. Obama has integrity, is a uniter, will begin to bring our troops home and will work on providing health care for all Americans. Bloomberg can help in straightening out our financial mess! He has been great for NYC and can be great for our country.

How disappointing. I posted my comment earlier today and I come back to read what others are saying to see that my comment has been removed. It did not contain inappropriate language, only my opinion of what the two options stand for… I didn’t think this was going to be a site that censored opinions when nothing inappropriate was said.

I’d vote for Miss Sasha or Mr. Grayson (my two adorable kitties) if I thought they could beat McClain!!! Any ticket that promises an end to the war and getting America back on track financially and morally would get my vote. I enjoyed Hiliary at first - not so much now. And after seeing Obama again this morning on The View - he is wise, articulate and has strong beliefs that hopefully he would be able to implement.

I say neither as well… Please, we need a few more options.

Neither on my end either. You could always put in a none of the above option.

I have to go with the majority here. I like Obama, but maybe he needs a bit more experience before being Prez. And I just don’t like Hillary. So neither for me as well.

Neither…absolutely neither. I seem to be in the minority on this site but I am a Republican. Not 100% right winger, as I do have some liberal points of view. That does not mean that I whole heartedly support McCain either. Frankly, I’m not happy with any of our choices right now. I am all for a woman having the chance, just not Hilary.

Neither one for me. I really am beginning to like Obama/Richardson.

I’m afraid I am joining the ranks of those abstaining from this vote. I feel very strongly that our country needs Obama at the top of the ticket-but I can’t see either candidate being VP for the other. Wasn’t LBJ in the same primary as JFK? That was a contentious mixture-although we didn’t know much about it until years later. Stranger things have happened. Sorry this vote is not going so well, but we are your voting public!
