At this point, I think I’ll sit tight and be glad I’m having such a good life. Sure, I’d love to have a few more IQ points, for my face to be without any wrinkles and my body to be in great athletic shape. Rich? That’s relative. In comparison to much of the world’s population, I’m incomprehensibly rich just by virtue of being a middle-class American. I have a great family, good friends, and my home is in the kind of mountain setting you find in paintings. My health could stand some improvement, though, which makes my answer an “other.”
I’d rather be young again, and I could possibly make the others happen.
Sadly, I let the years go by, probably taking my health for granted and allowing opportunites to pass by. I know I am not exactly unattractive or stupid, but failed to take advantage of healthy and wise routines which could have led to better appearance now, and did not exercise my intellectual talents. Now it is probably too late, and I am sad that so much has passed by.
At least I am not bitter.
Star: Funny!! Sometimes I think I lived my whole life backwards, too. But, I’m still happy. I love all these asssorted answers and basically want all of the above. Why not??
All of those things would be nice, but I would rather be surrounded by friends and enjoy life no matter where I am in this wealthy world of ours. Being a friend, or simply being kind makes for an enjoyable life.
At this point in my life, I think it would be a blast to experience “rich.” I mean, “let’s hop on a plane and wander through Europe, let’s take mom to Las Vegas (her favorite place) and buy her a sweet, little condo, let’s send the girls to whatever college they would like, let’s buy a home by water of some kind (always a desire of mine.) Rich just sounds like freedom, whether it’s for the best health care, or just to have fun. I know money doesn’t buy happiness, but in my fantasy it would come pretty darn close.
In dreary reality, though, I agree with some of the women who have expressed that having extra beauty, smarts, or riches doesn’t mean squat if you don’t have the sense of drive or goal-oriented ambition to propel you forward. I have seen many women of average intelligence or plain looks with lives filled with success and love simply because they understood how to make the most of the gifts they did possess.
Who would not want to be smart, beautiful, and rich? However, if I must choose, I think I’d like to be rich because I have so many ideas about how I might be able to help the less fortunate. There are countless social causes which require money to help bring about change. Also, if I were rich, I could afford to enhance my education. Actually, when I used to think of myself as being ‘smart’, I realized I was somewhat of an intellectual snob. I didn’t care to associate with for those I thought were stupid or vulgar; those lacking well grounded social skills. I now realize that often people behave as idiots because they simply don’t know any better. And regarding beauty, it is true I’ve learned, that indeed, ‘beauty’ is somewhat subjective. I don’t think you can seperate physical beauty from internal beauty. People who are truly ‘beautiful’ are also wonderful individuals. That’s been my observation. Think about it. Haven’t we all known someone who looked absolutely beautiful but because of their ‘nasty’ and haughty dispositions, their ‘beautiful’ physical appearance didn’t matter? Yes. I’ll take the money, rather than superior intellect, or beauty.
I think I would rather be humble, loving, sincere and compassionate — because….
Beauty fades
Being rich isn’t all it is cut out to be (and you can easily become poor)
Being smart - we are smart in our own way. It is too subjective.
