Good video and very cool music. Thank you. Oh, and thank you for the “Baracky II” link on another thread — really enjoyed!

I fell in love with her performance in “Birdcage” and have been a fan ever since. She’d shake up McCain in a minute, maybe even dance her way through the oval office and bring everyone to their knees.

Phyllis, She is so great. She and Kevin Kline are two of my favorites.

Greetings, Winery, Since you are in the SF area, were you familiar with this story? http://www.npr.org/templates/story/story.php?storyId=93708729 Your avatar has reminded how good a crisp white would go with a fresh peach. Think I’ll put pineapple sage blossoms on the peach. Very pretty.

Romney would give McCain some business muscle on the economic front. I just don’t know if McCain could stand hanging out with Romney for four years, given the obvious disdain he expressed (at least visually) during the primary campaign. But politics has made stranger bedfellows. I think Pawlenty would be more of a personality fit for McCain, as if that really matters.

Definitely he should choose Reverend John Hagee.

Okay kids, let’s keep this upbeat. The Repubs and Independents didn’t poke fun at the Dems choices for vice president, nor have we poked fun at your choice of president, even though, Lord knows we have a lot of material at our disposal.

Well, given the Karl Rove Academy of Fear & Smear, I’m sure if “a lot of material” were indeed available, we’d certainly be hearing about it. As for who McBush should choose, how about ANYONE who can give a straight, focused, truthful, non-scripted, non-evasive answer to a question? This boy certainly doesn’t, won’t or can’t.

I would like to direct your attention to Frank Rich’s column yesterday. Also would like to hear anyone’s take on the Cokie Robert’s inane comment re: Obama’s vacation choice.

Cokie Roberts doesn’t know what she is talking about. But, isn’t it funny, she thinks Obama should have made a more politically motivated choice for his vacation… and if he had, you’d better believe she’d be taking him to task for being so—- politically motivated for a candidate proposing change!

Cokie is beside the point for me. Obama took the wrong time to take a vacation. The place? Not as important. Obama seems somewhat detached from what is really going on. The Precious did poorly in debate this past Sat. for the same reasons. When Warren asked him who were the 3 most important people he would select for his administration? His answer is a model of Attention Deficit Disorder. “My wife Michelle, because I trust her, blah blah, and my grandmother”. Really. I find his hype team isn’t covering his very inexperienced and tragically pretentious back. Perhaps no one can. He should pay attention if he wants to get elected. Fawning won’t do it anymore. ChangeHopeHype.
