I made my decision last night. I’m voting for Obama. Palin is just too scary and we cannot afford the possibility that she might end up in the White House. What was McCain thinking?!?

Arty, I’ve been asking that same question ever since McCain picked her. I thought one of the commentators on CNN made an interesting comment last night after the debate. He said to remember back to the morning of 9-11, when George Bush was being flown all over the country in Air Force One because no one was sure what was happening and if there were more targets. He said remember where Cheney was during all that — he was in Washington DC in a situation room making decisions about sending fighter jets up to intercept and bomb air craft. Then the commentator said, “Do we really want to see Sarah Palin in that position that Cheney was in 7 years ago, making those kinds of decisions??” I think McCain and his people have gone over the edge on this one. I use to be 100% Republican, but no more. She does the best she can, but I’m sorry, the woman has only average intelligence compared with everyone else on the tickets. I’m voting Obama-Biden and I’ll sleep good at night knowing their in charge.

You guys just made me guffaw Club Soda through my nostrils! Dodd wants to puke on her hair?? too funny. Oh, the passion surrounding this election. What ever will we do when its all over? If I was the moderator of the VEEP debate I would have shut it down right after SP blatantly stated that she intended to Not Debate and just take the opportunity to speak directly to the American public instead. I would have said, “So are we all in agreement that you just threw the debate in favor of Joe Biden by refusing to answer my questions and abide by the regulatory parameters of the debate process? Let’s shut it down, and ask the network to go to back up programming for the duration of this time period. Thank you very much folks, and thanks for listening.” The sad news is that any TV person who says she won that debate has ulterior motives in supporting the Republicans and I think the readers here are smart enough to figure that out. The sadder news is that busy people with busy lives who don’t have time to study what is really going on here with her arrogant refusal to debate properly, will only ever see sound bites of the scripted words she spewed forth in a clever, carefully orchestrated attempt at Bush Inc. to get the White House back. The Republicans are using Palin by simply successfully appealing to the woman who feels scorned by Obama’s win over Hillary which was a deep cut slow to heal.

I fail to see how someone saying they want to “puke” in Palin’s hair funny. Sounds like something a kid would say who still laughs at scatological nonsense.

Yes. Phyllis. Indeed poopy/pukey jokes abound here too, it would seem. Perhaps she is a South Park fan. Funny, in English, also means odd/peculiar/curious/something to be seriously avoided. Maybe its not used much in “American.” You know, like Sarah Palin speaks. Not sure. But thanks for taking the time out of your day to distinguish yourself and make me NOT laugh. For every opinion there is an equal and opposite opinion. Peace, sister.

I liked Palin as well—I knew when I came here you would all be bashing away. I like Biden as well…..but I will not be voting for Barack. He is just not experienced enough.I am sure he will be around a long time and most likely eventually will be our president but not yet. I do not dislike him I just feel McCain has the experience—he gave this country 5 years I think we can give him some of that back. I don;t think the man(mc Cain) is gonna walk into office and drop dead the next day!!!!! And what are the statistics on a 40 something African American man who smokes????? I am so tired of the BS going around and some I have read her I am not even gonna bother to correct the several errors here. Everyone listen-pay attention and make up you r own minds. **************** No one could possibly embarass us more than Bill Clinton getting BlowJobs under his desk and sticking cigars in a woman vagina while looking us in the face and ”under oath ”stating “”I did not have sex with that woman”“Didn’t we have a little wag the dog in the middle of that to take the heat off him? He was impeached and should just go sit somewhere at home for the shame he brought this country. How can you even TALK about Palin next to HIM????????

First of all Lynn, why are bringing up Bill Clinton in the middle of a discussion about a VP debate? But since you did, I think you should read a little before you makes statements are not truthful. If you will remember correctly, President Clinton bombed terror installations in Afghanistan and a chemicals factory in Sudan—there was no wag the dog going on except in certain people’s minds! And who cares about what happened with Monica? He lied about lying and he paid a high price for it. What kind of price should people pay for lying, Lynn? What should we do to George Bush and Dick Cheney for lying about Iraq? Shouldn’t they be made to do some sort of penance, too? If mean, if Clinton should be impeached and sent away for a blow job, what about a duo who has caused the deaths of too many people to count? And it sure is nice of you to use the old “Barack Obama doesn’t have experience and that’s why I am not going to vote for him” excuse.

I think the arrogance of Obama is overwhelming! After he and his wife sat in a church for 20 years listening to a Hate Monger bash America and “The Whites”, he then announced his candidacy for President from the home of a convicted Terrorist. He had served approximately 125 days in the Senate as a freshman Senator! While there he has voted repeatedly “present”, rather than yea or nay!! What’s up with that??? According to informed sources his campaign has received approximately 50 million dollars from Iran. He still has not released his list of campaign contributors. Just for the record………he still smokes and Joe Biden has suffered thru 2 annyurisms! I don’t understand why so many of you are so worried about Sarah Palin dropping her G’s and her “folksy” way of speaking when perhaps you should be a little concerned with Nancy Palosi being 2 heartbeats away from the Presidency. Obama has had 19 months to get up to speed on the issues at hand (with 300 advisors, mind you) and Sarah Palin has had 5 weeks. McCain has the experience needed at this time……..he’s at the top of the ticket……..not her!

Just a little fact-checking, Judith. How is it that you know that Obama still smokes? And while you’re bashing Obama for listening to Rev. Wright’s sermons, how about looking at Sarah Palin’s pastor’s hands-on admonitions of driving witches out of her? Please prove, with real facts, that Obama’s campaign received any money at all from Iran. That sounds like trash talk to me. And, yes, Palin has had 5 weeks to memorize the canned speeches she spat out last night, including the disgusting “down home” rhetoric. She did OK with a set speech, but she still can’t give intelligent answers to questions she hasn’t been prepared for. Should McCain be elected, this five-weeker would then be next in line for the Presidency. An absolutely horrific thought. McCain, the so-called Maverick, has voted with George Bush 94% of the time. McCain presents no new thoughts, positions, ideas or capability.
