I’m glad you saw the humor in it, Sibelle. It is rather amusant. Now they are playing Fifty Cent and rap. (Completely !!! out of character for these mid-forty something Jews who used to call blacks “the Schwartze” only two years ago.) I ain’t lying.
Sibelle, they’ve turned to Motown now. Never, in the 10 years I’ve lived here, have I ever heard this music coming from their house. Maybe the Obama koolaid has been sprinkled on Dem promotional materials.
My, check a little further down Linda’s post. Obama’s supporters stealing the signs McCain/Palin from their lawns, vandalizing cars ……Very familiar stuff! Are we going backwards here?
Yes, I know all about it. My nasty leftie neighbors are vandals as well. I always thought they gave a bad name to Democrats. Messy people too. I do not enjoy them. (Although this Motown is quite nice.)
Sibelle, I do not like the character of the new “changed” party. It’s rather ugly. And I do not feel represented by this lot. My heart aches that Hillary is not in the #1 spot. And I secretly suspect that poor old Biden is having a little buyer’s remorse himself right now, wondering what the heck he’s gotten himself into. You could see it on his face and in his shoulders. It wasn’t facing Palin in the debate that had him down, he entered the venue down.
Yes Biden looked worn out,and what happened to his eyes?Is that a face lift or health problem? I know how you feel about Hillary,But you want Obama?Hillary told you about Obama in the primeries, that’s plenty! I personally don’t care for Biden’s character,he always exagerates and failed twice for the presidency, very catholic on top of it,too good to be true!
Sibelle, no I don’t want Obama. I am voting McCain. I know my posts confuse people on both sides, who keep thinking I am voting the other way. Sorry about that. It is because I have issues with both parties. I am voting the candidate this time round. Not the issues/party. Because I no longer trust the parties.
I do have some problems with Biden. Didn’t like how he handled the Anita Hill affair. I thought he did fine at the debate. And I think the McCain crowd is over-handling Palin. Let her make a few gaffes, I say. It is much better that she stay real and bring what she really does bring to the ticket. A domestic, middle class, common man, no b.s. approach. She may not be sophisticated on the national or world scene, but she has enough smarts and common sense to climb up through the ranks to govern a state. I wish they would get their image-molding paws off her and let her be, who she is. She’s a strong woman who speaks to the Republican base and to disenfranchised Hillary voters. If they mold her too much they’ll lose the Hillary crowd… which I think they have already begun to do. Because as she flounders to repeat their prepared sound bites she appears less independent and strong and more puppet-like. Rove did this to Bush too. Remember when Bush became a bumbling idiot waiting for words to be sent to his earpiece? Rove is a control freak. Which could end up being his fatal flaw in this campaign if he doesn’t back off. He found her. Now he’s going to ruin her. Just MHO.
Sibelle and My Alias…..There is no humor in what you ladies have been going on about, Seriously its very offensive to me as an African American Women and I very disappointed.
This shouldn’t be about race it should be about who can save us from the turmoil our country finds it self in today.
6% will not vote for Obama just because he’s black, where do you stand. Very disappointed. Oh! and just to let you know I was a Hillary supporter before I supported Obama.
And honestly Edwina, I am stymied at what you are offended at. Is it my loud-mouthed, two-faced neighbors’ activities, or the fact that I reported on them… and the absurdity of it all?
