Chinese national Wang Guiying has waited a lifetime to find the man of her dreams!

After growing up seeing her uncles and other men beat their wives, Wang, now 107 years old, swore off marriage. Women, you see, didn’t have many rights at the time and were very low on the social ladder. As time marched on, however, Wang has seen women’s lots change; this go-getter’s now on the prowl for a man.

"I’m already 107 and I still haven’t got married," the Chongqing Commercial Times quoted her saying. "What will happen if I don’t hurry up and find a husband?"

Local officials seem more than happy to help Wang search for a 100-year-old groom. They suggest her family scour homes for the elderly in search of Mr. Right. Good luck, Wang!
