A Late P.S. On Tina Fey, Woman of the Moment!
Hey, recently I had lunch with the queen of “30 Rock” and “SNL” and her own new movie “Baby Mama” at Michael’s, the famous shouting restaurant where you indeed do have to shout to be heard.
At the time I thought I had a video moment of Tina and the Marie Claire magazine editor Joanna Coles holding their new magazine with Tina on the cover. But when the video was developed by CVS, they gave me back somebody’s video of grammar school. Only today did we find Tina Fey in person. And here she is, demure as can be, refusing to be funny as is her right!
The man in the film is Steve, the maitre d’ of Michael’s, and the other lady is Lucy Kaylin of Marie Claire. Mentioned in this video is the fact that we have a photograph of Tina Fey’s toes with a pedicure done by her two-year-old daughter, Alice. Needless to say, Alice painted slightly outside the edges of mommy’s now very famous toes and this is quite a funny photo.
But Tina, in the end, decided not to donate it to wowOwow because she said, “It does not show Alice’s work at the top of her game. Also, when I immediately removed all the nail polish from my covered toes, Alice noticed this and wanted to redo it. I am hoping she’ll forget about giving pedicures!”
Our best brava to Tina Fey on the advent of her becoming an honest to goodness movie star! Her "Baby Mama" movie was tops at the box office only days ago!

Liz, I’m so jealous. What advice can you give to one who wants to be —- you?
Get a life! Tee hee. Anyway, Tina Fey, Tina Fey… a worthy success to the long line of brilliant american women humorists. Blessings on your sweet talented silly head.
Dear Mugsy, I am too shy and new to the neighborhood to comment often, but this sweet little jest lets me till you how much I enjoy your naughtiness, courage, and your amazing way with words. I hope you will never leave us without the joy your contributions bring.
Liz,Thank you for sharing.
…and Tina !Go girl!!!
Liz, please take more videos - no matter what the camera work - it makes your comments ever so much more REAL and we can feel that we are there, too!
I agree with Pam! It’s reassuring and refreshing that I’m not the only klutz with a camera.
Liz, the only way to get good at it is to do it. The good news is, it’s self-correcting and doesn’t take that long to learn. I agree, more videos, please.
wonderful Liz keep it up I truly enjoyed it. Thank-You.
My wife and I are really looking forward to seeing Baby Mama! Great Article!
Thanks Liz…love Michael’s…love Tina…love Marie Claire….and we all love you. You are the best…whoopsy camera work and all. A hoot. Yes, more please! Lots of fun.
How utterly fabulous! (I do read MC, but adore ELLE!)
Miss Tina,
Since you removed the out of lines toe polish, you must redeem yourself in your daughter’s eyes…by allowing her to give you a manicure with polish!
And, as much as it practically kills you, nauseates you, when she makes a UGLY macaroni necklace - wear it proudly. These are the things she will never forget!
I love Tina to pieces, but, Liz…you are a hoot!!! Thanks for this quality video! ;-)
