Lindsay Lohan Defends Girlfriend Samantha Ronson

Lindsay Lohan put rumors to rest on Monday when she confirmed to the radio show Love Line that she is, in fact, dating DJ Samantha Ronson … and has been "for a very long time." Now, Lohan is facing the wrath of her Christian minister dad, Michael Lohan. The celebrity photo website X17 Online reported that Lindsay’s dad e-mailed them a long ranting message slamming Ronson.

"There is a lot more to Samantha than meets the eye!" the e-mail reportedly read. "She uses her middle finger more than she uses words! Personally, I think she is dark, hideous and a disgusting representation of humanity!

"Have you ever seen her apartment? For God’s sake, when she runs out of toilet paper she tells people to use the cardboard roll. (I was told this firsthand)."

Lindsay Lohan is reportedly defending her girlfriend — and pushing back at her father. The 22-year-old actress’s spokesperson reportedly e-mailed the New York Post’s Page Six on Wednesday saying that Lohan’s father "needs to be on medication to control his moods."

"He is out of line and his words show how much anger he has, and it’s dangerous and scary as it reminds me of how he treated my mother and I my whole childhood," the e-mail reportedly read. "This is yet another reason why we aren’t speaking."

Michael Lohan served a two-and-a-half-year sentence at a corrections facility on various probation violation charges after a DUI arrest. He is currently a minister and counselor at a youth rehabilitation facility in New York. He divorced Lindsay’s mother Dina in 2007 after years of rumors that the two had a very unstable relationship.

As I have learned recently in my own life, sometimes when it comes to family…..you have to let go and move on with your life. They can be so vexatious that associating with them will only bring you down. It is clear that this is the situation between Lindsay and her father. He should leave her alone and let her live her life, choose not to address her in interviews. This current relationship may indeed be a mistake, gay or straight, this young woman she is with may indeed be a poor choice for a mate. But in the final analysis it is Lindsay’s choice and it is Lindsay that will have to deal with the outcome of it.

I agree. Parents I believe (for the most part) want the best for their children, but sometimes what is best for you is not what your Parents would like. Lindsay has to make her own life and learn how to make her own way. I don’t know this family personally and I will not judge either part, but I will say this. “Good judgement comes from experience. Experience comes from bad judgement.” We are all just learning as we go. Personally, I don’t think anyone has the right to tell another person who they should love. I’m a lesbian and I believe my love (or Lindsay’s love) is just as true and as deep as anyone elses.

I think that is very Anti-Christian of Linsey’s Dad condemning her for who she wants to love or live with. The Christians own Jesus said “Judge not yet ye be judged” Isn’t it the way of all criticizing Christians. They condemn, Criticize, ridicule, make fun of all who are not according to them following their way of life. Of course, I think he just wants to sound off to enjoy being famous. We do not care for his comments and therefore he should not receive any more coverage. As for Lindsey, you go sweetie. Life is too short to worry about what others say. Hey Liz, my mother has read the Bible many times and told me that the Bible has ZERO references to lesbianism being a sin. ZERO. I found that fascinating that this age-old chronicle of the Judeo-Christian faith only eschews male homosexuality. So I say, go ahead girls. Have a ball. Or…maybe not.
