Angelina Jolie's Bodyguard Plans an 'Explosive' Tell-All

Angelina Jolie’s Oscar nomination has been marred by mounting rumors that her former bodyguard plans on spilling her darkest secrets.

Mickey Brett, who served as Jolie’s head bodyguard for seven years and was once so close to the family that young Maddox called him "Uncle Mickey," allegedly never signed a confidentiality agreement, which could give him the green light to publish a tell-all about one of the most famous Hollywood couples.

According to reports, Brett teamed up with ghostwriter Robin McGibbon after Jolie and boyfriend Brad Pitt kicked him to the curb back in 2007. And, as all good tell-alls do, the book will reportedly include the "sordid details" of the couple’s courtship and sex life. A publishing insider reportedly said that the bodyguard "knows everything about Angelina. It’s going to be one of the most explosive books ever written."

Sources claim the actress is seeking legal counsel to block Brett’s exposé.

A book like this came out a few years ago about Dolly Parton. It immediately disappeared..money talks.

Because I’m not a fan of Angelina, I will probably read this book! I agree with Debra Grande….gossip about Hollywood stars can sometimes be good for the soul! I bet Jen has already reserved her copy!

Loan it to me when you are done with it! If Jen already ordered her copy, I’m sure Angelina has her bedroom wallpapered in Jen’s GQ’s cover picture…lol! That’s what “friends” are for!!

deberB…don’t think Jen has to read a book she lived it…but then Jolie wasn’t married to her, Brad was and he decided to leave. For those women who’d rather believe another woman can steal a husband, rather than believe your husband left because he did not love you enough to stay…this will probably be apt reading.

Saw Jolie and Brad last night at the Oscars and Jen showed up with her new BF…maybe she will move on now.

Jen needs to devote her time to finding a love of her own!  Brad didn’t leave because of Angelina …he left because of Jen. He apparently wasn’t getting what he needed from her…and couldn’t give her what she needed. So why live a lie…Angelina seems to have a much more fulfilled life…so I would suggest that Jen don’t spend a precious moment of her valuable life gloating and basking in Angelina missteps… petty little women with petty little thoughts just make more of a petty little world…Jen think big…you’re a better than little teeny weeny deber b!

I would think that he would have had to sign some sort of statement when he was hired. While it will be a juicy read for those who want to spend $25, I always wonder at those who used their alleged loyalty for their own profit.

Diana Long time ago when I worked for actresses I never had to sign one, and I worked for a few of them. None of my friends signed them either, and I also oversaw getting many people hired as chefs, assistants, and many other positions, and I can’t recall that any of them signed one. We were a tight knit group that just wouldn’t spill the beans, it was a matter of feeling good about ourselves. That was in the late 70’s thru 80’s, and then it started to change. I was pregnant and leaving the job and was trying to replace myself, got recommendations and a couple of them had been forced by previous employers to sign them because they had had the bean spilled on them once too often. Then everyone had to sign one. Sometimes people are just trusting. I am surprised he didn’t have to sign, maybe he came highly recommended and known to be trustworthy - obviously not. What an ass.

Back then, it did not often occur to people that worked in a trust position to spill the beans. Hope this guy never works in a doctors office. But then, I think it has become part of our culture to not hold confidences so carefully. BTW, what did you do to work for actresses? Movies or stage?

Diana Worked for both stage and movie. Worked with a couple on their autobiographies, then one of them found out I had business background and worked with her business manager until I pretty much did all of it. When I started out I left a job that I really didn’t want to leave, but I wanted to travel and I did travel with her. If you saw The Devil Wears Prada, my first experience was much like that. When I left to have my first child she was going to set up a nursery in her house and have a nanny in for the baby while I worked. Didn’t want to do it. Had many offers to go to work for producers and managers that I knew, but didn’t want to be in that business. Too many people with big egos willing to lie to get ahead. I did enjoy doing research for and working on the books, that was interesting and I met many of the old school back lot greats of costuming, make-up, set design and I really learned a tremendous amount. I continued to work part time as we started our business but as we got busier, and my hats got too many, I threw in with my husband, and gardens and ladybugs, and butterflies, and being there when little boys were running, jumping, climbing trees and swinging from birches. Long days and short years.

Once again, Diana, I must agree with you….do you think this is revenge? or Blackmail? Although he may be taking the ‘opportunity’ to write a book, it would have been much more ethical if he were to collaborate WITH Jolie—-rather than not—-AND, maybe even more people would buy it! Ya just never know! One thing I am sure of though, NO ONE will want to hire him EVER again, as a bodyguard, now that he has shown he is not trustworthy!
