Hey 'SNL,' This Is Not Ann Coulter (Video)

By The Staff at wowOwow.com
"Ann Coulter" on "SNL"

"Saturday Night Live" doesn’t have the highest opinion of Ann Coulter.

The Conservative — whose controversial views never fail to spark debate — was portrayed this weekend on "Saturday Night Live" as a nonsensical blonde dimwit. During "Weekend Update" with Seth Meyers, "Coulter" insisted:

We need to listen to President Bush when he tells us history will judge this war. And it might take 100 years. And you won’t be here. And George Bush won’t be here. But I will still be here, thanks to a medical procedure I undergo twice a year at a Swiss mountain facility …

I love torture. I think torture is good and Christian-y.

When Meyers questioned Bush’s response to Hurricane Katrina, "Coulter" offered a swift rejoinder:

Sure, it was bad. But think about it — we don’t know how many hurricanes President Bush prevented.

Whoa. Do you think "SNL" pushed the envelope a bit too far here? Watch:

Does this sketch simply add more fuel to the argument she makes in her new book, Guilty, about how the liberal media tends to assault those who disagree with them? Or, are you laughing along with "SNL"?

Hmm. I am not allowed to watch this internationally-disallowed vid. I guess she must be banned on the Canadian airways. No wonder I never knew who she was until last week. I always knew we had a bit of common sense up here! Why bother. I’m off to the beach now. Rather have some fresh air than be baited again by Wow to get into a dog fight with a bunch of red necks. I can think of better ways to enjoy this of all days. (anyone recognize what that big yellow ball is up in that blue thing which has been gray for months now?) :) Have fun ladies! And enjoy your day as we all reflect and project a newly-refreshed world inspired by MLK. Even Gaza is taking a break this week! Maybe they’re inspired too!(down on my knees praying for them to stop) What a timely Godsend this new first family is! In the nick of time I’d say! Happy New Year! And congratulations on making the right choice not only for your country, but for the rest of the world this time! I am very proud of Americans today! (getting teary-eyed-gotta go)

Amelie… maybe we are just trying to keep our dirty laundry to ourselves!

That would be nice if the next generation of politicians could change the foreign policy so that there were no clothes lines stretching out across the globe for all to see all their fruit of the loom. Maybe send a memo to the new gang for that OK? :)

Come on girls, “smart and conservative” used in the same sentence to describe Ann Coulter? Please. And if the Queen of dish can’t take the kind of crap she dishes to liberals or anyone else she decides aren’t worth respect, then she needs to get out of media and go home a knit.

Awe come on, Allene, knitting would be productive and definitely not in her resume!

I don’t think SNL went too far. Ann Coulter is a vile human being with opinions that line up well enough with the skit that it’s a good spoof.

Ann Coulter is just a mindless air head, she thinks she is and looks intelligent in fact she is neither. The only thing she is good for is keeping up the hopes for the right wing crowd with all her drivel and they can’t get enough of it. SNL got Sarah Palin exactly right and they have this nasty piece of work exactly right as well……being on SNL as a spoof is one thing but to know that’s how these people really are is scary!!!

Actually I think she is incredibly savvy. (Don’t agree with a word she says, but she’s not mindless by a long shot.) I put her in the same category as Rush Limbaugh and Arianna Huffington. They pick a controversial side, hitch their wagon to it and ride that pony express all the way to the bank. It’s all about money and fame.

My Alias, That’s such an accurate description. Rush and Ann, however, have been consistently on the right, unlike the opportunistic chameleon, Arianna Stassinopolous Huffington

isn’t she clever?

I’m so onto the whole Arianna spiel.

Ann who??? I try not to pay any attention to someone who thinks they know better than I how the world should be organized. So, I guess I’m laughing with SNL (or will be when I watch the TiVo copy).
