Ann Coulter's New Book Takes On Media's Obama Love

White House press secretary Dana Perino estimated that it would be eight months before the media fell out of love with Barack Obama, but she obviously wasn’t talking about Ann Coulter.

Coulter, who recently had her jaw wired shut, will soon publish yet another new book, "Guilty: Liberal ‘Victims’ And Their Assault On Media." Set to hit shelves the first week of January – that is, right before Obama’s inauguration – "Guilty" will poke fun at the media’s adoration for Obama, his Democratic peers, and take on the what Coulter describes as the "left gone wild." From the front jacket:

When it comes to bullying, no one outdoes the Left. Citing case after case, ranging from the hilariously absurd to the shockingly vicious, Coulter dissects so-called victims who are invariably the oppressors.

For instance: While B. Hussein Obama piously condemned attacks on candidates’ families, his media and campaign surrogates ripped open the court-sealed divorce records of his two principal opponents in his Senate race in Illinois.

The real question now becomes not when the media will become more critical of Obama, but whether the public will buy it - figuratively and literally, of course.

Good point Marjorie. How can one be progressive if he/she does not believe in free speech? I know that she is upset about Coulter but she does not have to buy the book or even be a member of WOWOWOW. For example, I may get upset about what is on the radio and I just turn the station. Perhaps she will take the time to clarify this who knows. Have a Happy Thanksgiving by the way.

Tanja—if you don’t complain about things you find harmful & disgusting that are pushed at you—you can expect to be deluged with more harmful & disgusting things. It’s not a matter of tuning in a different station because you hear something that upsets you. If you want to change things for the better—-if you really care——you contact the people who run the station & tell them you hate their programming & want to see it gone. If enough people do this—-they will usually get rid of whatever it was This is a simple concept to understand.

Frannie- Exactly “What, and why?” Maybe it should be a “Who knows and who cares?” I’ll keep reminding myself patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue, patience is a virtue……..

Marjorie—You’ve gotten confused. Coulter does have the right to say it—but I have the right to protest to the companies that hire her & get her silenced if I can. It’s activism.

No I don’t work for wowowow. However it is up to the individual to decide what is offensive in regards to books, talk radio etc. Like I stated earlier you do not have to purchase the book. If you want to complain to them by all means go ahead. I respect the website and I don’t agree with everything about it. Different views you know.

You’d have to look at her posts and you’d know what I mean. She is either just making insulting remarks, or trying to push the abortion issue into a thread. No other input.

I suggest that you RE-READ all my posts and take the time and READ my website. I am far more well-rounded than what you may belief. I like others have the right to an opinion. Some of my opinions are different than your opinions. You will find that in any place-your neighborhood, your city, your state, your country, at your work place even in your own family. People will have different opinions. Not everyone thinks the same way on every issue.
