Britney Spears's Dad Is Furious Over Daughter's New Reality Series

Britney Spears is reportedly set to star in a new reality TV show, despite her family’s wishes for her to keep her private life out of the limelight.
If Britney appears in the proposed "fly-on-the-wall" MTV documentary, she will be defying the wishes of her mother Lynne, dad Jamie, ex-husband Kevin Federline and her 17-year-old sis Jamie Lynn (who recently gave birth to her first child).
Reports swirling around the Internet reveal that the show will focus on Britney’s attempt to get her life and career back on track.
The troubled 26-year-old has desperately been trying to regain her fame and image — with a new diet, workout routine and new album.
Britney’s mother is said to be talking her daughter out of the show because she fears the singer will use it as a platform to speak out before Lynne’s tell-all book is published, News 24 reports.
"This could be the biggest car-crash television moment of all time," said a worried friend of Britney.
Also, Britney’s dad is "furious," News 24 reports: "He thinks it’s a big mistake and doesn’t want anything to do with it. But Britney thinks it will help her custody battle for her sons."
Perhaps Britney’s also a bit strapped for cash lately? CBS News reports Britney recently resolved custody dispute with ex-husband Kevin Federline cost her a fortune.
Court documents show legal bills submitted on behalf of two law firms who represented Spears total more than $466,000. That’s on top of the $250,000 the pop singer has agreed to pay Federline’s attorneys. MTV news reports that Britney also pays K-Fed $20,000 a month under an agreement finalized in July.
