Candice Bergen on 'Murphy Brown': 'I Was Exhausted But Very Happy'

Candice Bergen
I would like to stay the age I am right now. Or, no, wait — 20 years ago when my daughter was three and I was doing "Murphy Brown" and I was exhausted but very happy and fulfilled.

And we all loved/s your Murphy years! (I still want ALL the seasons to be released on DVD’s) Your Shirley Schmidt years aren’t too bad either! Just a shame they ended far too soon!

Agreed! Loved the Murphy years! And I really don’t see why they won’t release all the seasons on DVD!

I think we would all love to say we love our life now; but, for most of us no matter how fulfilled we are NOW ; and I have a very full life - still, those years when our kids were young and we were so lovely were magic. I keep saying: be glad you had that time!!! And, i watched your program with four little girls every week! Love you then and love you now,but totally understand lost youth sucks.
