Candice Bergen
Warren Buffett is a brilliant man but this is maybe the first thing I’ve heard him say that wasn’t.

Well, he can afford to drive ‘em. Maybe the only person who can.

I don’t think he’s completely crazy on this. There are lots of young families with three and four kids these days. They need family-sized vehicles and are generally on tight budgets. But I agree, it makes no sense for we empty-nesters and singletons.

Brilliant, that is funny. His statement caused an uproar in our home. My husband thought this was the perfect excuse to get the huge truck of his dreams. So I smiled sweetly grabbed my car keys and off we went. Oh, what a happy man he was on the way to the dealership. We get there and he sees what he likes. I suggest a test drive. They get it ready for us. The gleam in his eyes were like a child’s on Christmas morning. Time to get in. Now it dawns on him. He is only 5’3 and I am 4’11. He made our excuses and we jumped in my hybrid and laughed all the way home.
