Carol Alt, 48, Poses Nude for Playboy; Ex-Husband, Former New York Ranger, Sounds Like a Hockey Puck (Photo)

Even though Carol Alt at 48 is the one posing nude for Playboy, it’s her ex-husband who is the one looking like a creep.

After her ex, the former New York Rangers hockey player Ron Greschner, heard that Alt appears naked in Playboy’s December issue, he reportedly made these low-blow remarks: "I have no interest in seeing a 50-year-old woman naked. My wife right now is 40 and hot, after five kids." 

Your wife is ten years younger and hotter? What’s going to happen to this marriage in ten years? Will Greschner be shutting his eyes or running out of the room every time wife Lori gets undressed?

Alt, the model/actress, recently lost her six-figure lawsuit against Greschner. Alt claimed that she was owed half the profits her ex made off the sale of a company they both invested in 11 years ago …  but the court ruled the suit was brought on too late. Greschner and Alt have been divorced for nearly seven years. And Alt actually ended up having to pay nearly $32,000 in fees.

Greschner was a heel during the marriage too. During the lawsuit, it was made public that the reason the two divorced was because Greschner wanted kids. Alt couldn’t conceive children after being diagnosed with cervical and uterine cancer.

Alt, who looks absolutely fabulous on the Playboy cover and is a true inspiration for cancer survirors, said that stripping down was a spiritual journey:

I’ve done a lot of soul searching about this and have spoken extensively with Playboy about it … They have been amazing to work with and are embracing this message that I want to get across, which is eat healthy, look healthy and be healthy. It doesn’t matter what age you are.

Alt is not only beautiful but smart. Her ex is an idiot. Not only for bringing up an age difference but the number of children too knowing Alt couldn’t conceive. The art of being civil seems to be a thing of the past. On top of that was the remark Rendell made about Napolitano. Is it that men just don’t get it????

Ah! The desperation of fools. Yes, her ex is a jerk. But I question whether or not women will be more likely to aspire to good health as result of Alt’s exposure in a men’s magazine. Please.

So is that considered some sort of [public!] admission to the likelihood that he doesn’t intend on remaining married to his current wife for more than ten additional years (or whenever her looks DO begin to deteriorate - whichever’s first)? The douche-baggery there is staggering. I’d be concerned if I were the New Mrs. Greschner…

A harsh comment yes but I think that Greschner deserved and earned it. My first thought was I wouldn’t want to see Greschner in his birthday suit. Halloween was in October. In regards to her Russian boyfriend, I am sure Carol Alt appreciates his birthday suit. Carol Alt went thru a lot with cancer and she is a beautiful survivor. I think she is better off now. The person that may get the short end of the hockey stick might be Greschner’s second wife. I love hockey by the way. However, Greschner is 54 and most women that age PREFER younger men. Perhaps he needs to look in the mirror because he looks quite nasty now. Once again, a harsh comment yes but I think that Greschner deserved and earned it.

Wow, if he really did say that, he is the most heartless, mindless clod any woman could ever be married to. As suggested, what is his poor wife in for in 10 years? I’m sure he will (as many men do) trade her in for a newer model. How pathetic. Carol looks great! She doesn’t have a body of a younger woman, it is the body of a woman in her 40’s that did as she should have….maintained it. She has a mature yet curvaceous body. Kudos Carol!

Well, it looks like all of the ladies have already said what needed to be said. It’s obvioius that her ex is immature and lives in a fantasy world! Is he rich enough to keep attracting younger, curvacious women?If not, he’ll be alone and not too soon!

Am I missing something? You have a tough decade, a few run-ins with cancer, a crappy husband—“Gee! I’ll pose for Playboy!”—by that logic I would have to pose and no one wants to see that. In what universe is this logical? It is good for revenge I suppose, but still playing right into what men want to see, what men care about, not substance, not intelligence—not even humor. This is coldly calculated to send a message—don’t get older—as if we had a choice.

Well Carol Alt made that decision maybe she’ll have the chance to explain why. She looks great by the way. I hope that I can look as good when I turn 48. I also hope to look as good as my Omi when I hit her age as well.

I use to feel the same way Kermie about Playboy (as I said staring at a HUGE box of PlayGirl magazines I own….:-) Then I realized 1. I was a hypocrite for thinking that way because I subscribed to PlayGirl and did so simply to admire the male body. And 2. I realized as I got older that men truly are visual, they admire looking at a woman’s body far more than women do in terms of looking at men (I am clearly an exception in that regard, I find the male body from head to toe beautiful). Playboy offers up an airbrushed, unrealistic look at femininity, however the upside is most men (by virtue of dating and being married to real women) understand that what they see in Playboy is not reality. We need to give men more credit than we do in that regard.

Sure, her ex-husband sounds like an immature jerk, but why did she feel the need pose for Playboy? I don’t buy the “eat healthy, look healthy and be healthy” message. I think it has more to do with her need for “approval” from men. She’d be better off and I think she’d get far more respect by making a difference — doing something substantive by using her brain.

Kudos to Playboy for putting a real woman on their cover! I’m interested in knowing how much it sells…I’m so tired of of the phony, over processed typical Playboy woman maybe men would enjoy looking at a real woman…who thinks! and can speak…finally who cares what her ex has to say…you go girl!

Actually I think she did it for the money, they pay quite well expecially for famous models like Carol. Also, I don’t mind a bit seeing a photo of a beautiful naked lady….I wouldn’t spend the money buying a Playboy mag for a youngster like Kim Kardishan or whatever but Carol Alt is beautiful and, because her body is her trade she has taken care of it. My body, alas, has not been and I haven’t taken care of it so I am now paying the price. I wish Winery would give some advise. She sounds so healthy and aware of what is required to stay that way….where is she?
