Catch wOw on GMA With Diane Sawyer on March 12

Joni Evans
Dear wOw Community:

This is a really exciting launch week. Some of us Wowers had a chance to discuss our new site with Good Morning America’s fabulous host Diane Sawyer. When we asked her if she wanted to join our group, she replied: "Perhaps, when I’m old enough!"

Tune in to ABC this Wednesday (March 12) morning.

XOXOX,
Joni

I wondered where Diane was! I hope she joins soon — her voice is as compelling as the rest of these great women. Keep nagging her!

Will set the Tivo. Tell Diane she’s old enough chronologically, but is she young enough at heart?

Please, do not nag others to join us. Smacks of insecurity. You’re all more than I asked for and for that I am grateful. You doesn’t need nothin’ mo’ to be whole.

I hope you folks will have bloggers on staff who can help keep the site current before the site is advertised on GMA. For instance, yesterday’s big news was Elliot Spitzer’s fall from grace over hiring prostitutes….and yet there is still no mention of it here anywhere. There is no worse fate for a web site these days than to be behind the “current” curve.

Hi Gals, how about discussing the incredibly bias against Hillary MEDIA?? It’s really pathetic……..and so frustrating for us voters to not be able to do a thing about it!Why is racism against the law and sexism NOT?????? It’s so obvious to me the media is trying to set up an Obama/McCain election in which case Obama would be the loser in my opinion…….. very ,very upsetting……….Carole

Hi, Will tune into GMA. What’s up with Diane? Is she saying that she is too young to be a part of the site? Are wise women not her cup of tea?

I was delighted to hear about this fantastic site on GMA earlier today. I couldn’t wait to drop my son off at school so that I could return and dive in! My life has been in such turmoil over the past several years. I hope this site will delve into the lives of normal women, those with challenging family lives, careers (or lack of) and mental health issues. I am curious as to whether the discussion threads will be started by the founding members, or if registered users will be able to throw something out there. Are other women still wondering what they want to do when they grow up? Are other women struggling with their child having been the victim of a crime and how it affects the entire family? Are other women wondering what the heck they did when they were younger to deserve the burden they’re carrying today? Do other women wonder what the ratings would be if their life were a reality TV show? These are some of the things I think about and would welcome a discussion with women going through similar circumstances. With that said…best of luck with this wonderful site!

What if candidates could only run for office on the internet WITHOUT pictures. There would be no mention of sex or age or religion. This could be used as a process for hiring people as well. Just the best skills for the job.

The GMA review was where I found you. I was absorbed by the commonality everyone displayed and had to find out for myself what WOWOWOW was all about. It is exciting & refreshing to be a part of something so expansive.

I loved the segment on GMA this morning! I had never heard of this site before today. The personalities of those interviewed really made me want to check things out here. What a great place!

Never miss a morning without GMA. Saw the show this morning, found this site and I agree Diane why aren’t you one of our “women”? If I ever had the opportunity of being able to spend one day with anyone it would be Diane Sawyers (or Hillary LOL) I have said that for years. So time permitting Diane please hang out here.
