Has the National Enquirer uncovered a dirty Cindy McCain secret? We have our doubts.

According to the tabloid and their "sources," McCain, who’s married to former presidential candidate John McCain, has been cuddling up to a mystery man. Multiplie spies claim that Mrs. McCain and the man — who, according to one witness, resembles "a washed-up ’80s musician" — have been locking lips at all sorts of events, like the Tempe Music Festival in Arizona.

That’s where this alleged picture was taken. Of that encounter, one source says that the couple "kissed and cuddled." "While other concertgoers stood up to cheer and sing, Cindy and the guy remained entwined in their seats." Things got so heated, insists this witness, that they wanted to tell "Mrs. McCain" to "get a room."

McCain’s spokeswoman had no comment on the matter, of course. We’re generally skeptical of such stories — and somehow we doubt Mrs. McCain would be so brazen with something so scandalous — but the Enquirer did break that story about John Edwards’ extramarital affair. If they’re right about Cindy McCain — well, we’ll just be absolutely flabbergasted!
