Clinton Greeted Like Rock Star at State Dept. (Video)
Hillary Clinton received quite the warm welcome on her first day as our nation’s secretary of state.
Untold numbers of colleagues and fans gathered at the State Department today to cheer for Mrs. Clinton. And cheer they did — for about three minutes, actually, and barely subsided in time for her to offer some remarks. "Robust diplomacy and effective development are the best long-term tools for securing America’s future," Clinton told the crowd. She continued, and said that while it’s going to be a difficult undertaking, she’s up for the task: "This is not going to be easy … But if it weren’t hard, somebody else could do it."
