Cynthia McKinney, Others, Turned Back From Gaza Mission

Cynthia McKinney loves a good challenge.

The forrmer congresswoman, who this year ran for president on the Green Party ticket, attempted to sway Barack Obama and the world yesterday when she and 16 others attempted to deliver medical supplies to the Gaza Strip, which Israel has been attacking for the past four days. The activists, organized by Free Gaza Group, announced their trip a few days ago, but were turned back yesterday by an Israeli military boat. Fox News provides the adventurous details:

… McKinney, unimpeded by the "closed military zone" imposed by Israel, was among 16 people aboard a medical supply boat that collided with an Israeli naval ship Tuesday as it tried to enter coastal waters around Gaza.

The yacht, owned by the U.S.-based Free Gaza Movement, was reportedly carrying 3.5 tons of medical supplies donated by Cyprus. A press release from the group claimed "several Israeli gunboats intercepted the Dignity; she was heading on a mission of mercy to Gaza." They said the Israeli military fired machine guns into the water in an attempt to stop the Dignity’s progress.

Israeli officials admitted "physical contact" with the boat, but say they only took such measures after the yacht failed to heed its radio warnings. McKinney and the others were then sent on their way back to Lebanon, from whence it came. They will reportedly make another attempt.

I beginning to think that Israel is no different than the terrorists they purport to fight. Stopping a relief mission is tantamount to terrorism.

well Frank—-there is a difference—-2000 years ago, the area was Judaic—-Israel exist on the bodies of many Brit ‘peace-keepers’, wasted by Judaic terrorist—-so the Brits give-up, NYC rams an Israel down the UN’s throat—-sure, they offered to pay former residents, bizs—-dime/dollar—-as for it ‘being theirs 2k years ago—-i guess we should give the USA back to Native Americans—-their ‘genocide-beef’ is hard to top. and more recent—- historically, those twisted, become as their oppressors—-old story—-

2000 yrs ago is was Roman -occupied/dominated—Israel also rests on the bodies of the dispossessed arabs who were there before the state existed. They were forcibly removed, hence the Palestinian problem that is exacerbated today by the IDF bombing the crap out of Gaza and it’s people, and the interdiction of relief agencies trying to get help to the Palestinians. That’s tantamount to terrorism in my book, Gulliver. I have no love for Hamas or Hizbollah and frankly the rocketing needs to stop. I’m with Hosni Mubarak of Egypt on this BTW. His statement today or was it yesterday was a slap in the face of Israel as it was oin Hamas’ and Hizbollah’s.

i’m aware of the long Roman occupation—-looking at the wiki stats, seems while 5.9 Jews perished, at least 7.0 + million non-Jews as well (the Roma stats range to 1.5 mil)—-then you have the 20 million Soviet civilian + military—not to mention Allied loses—-i’m rather neutral on Hamas, as they are Palestinians, and victims of the biggest ‘heist’ known—-i’m not ‘wowed’ by Hollywood’s version, Exodus—-the fact is i can’t think of a greater error than to summarily ‘give’ Palestinian property’ to what Joseph Cambel termed a ‘tribe’ (you’re in or out)—-certainly in consideration of such ancient history of historical conflict—-you know you will get trouble—-bad choice—- if one subscribes to Judaism, a religion as many others, as deserving it’s ‘own’ nation, seems there were numerous options—-ie: aside from our Pacific coast, we have huge ‘empty’ zones west of St. Louis—-far larger than Palestine, and i, as the 1st ‘gentile’ to wed a 100% Jewish lady, would feel a Jewish nation, separate, yet within our nation, both more ethical and quite ‘do-able’—-why not a chunk of Nevada, better-yet, a portion of San Bernardino County—-mostly The Mojave desert—-and not put to any use—-given We are the prime backing of Israel. and to great extent its creator—-funding would seem no problem. at this point 50% of our budget goes to defense—-vs. what? China, Russia are no reasonable threat—-that now comes from the Middle-East, and goes to Our allowed creation of a Jewish nation, placed in the worst possible location. i, for one, would appreciate being able to simply drive, visit an Israel within our border—-this may seem bizarre, but we have plenty of ‘surplus’ turf that would easily benefit from Jewish innovation, tenacity, and development—-absurd? look at Utah, an entire state that is ‘ruled’ by Mormans—-a religion. as for the assumed ‘protect Judaism’ concept, i feel it obvious that has failed, made a more dangerous world, robbed former residents of Palestine—-‘Big-Time’—-one dumb move. i do not blame Palestinians—-the concept of ‘the promised land’ (the world should submit to Judaism, Protestants, Catholics?)—-quite irrational—-i have no beef with Hamas—-no one likes being robbed—-and their pitiful rockets are hardly more than a joke vs. Israel—-look at the body-count—- i guess it’s ‘too-late-now’—- anything other than a futile rebuff to Israel’s power—-

I see no difference between the fanatics than run Israel and the neo-cons of the Bush Administration. Exodus was a screed by Leon Uris to advance Israel claim of authenticity and a piss-poor novel at best. Our involvement with Israel is a major stumbling block to any peaceful settlement in the area, not that there’s much chance of that happening any time in the future. WE need to cut off military aid to Israel ASAP. Maybe that will make them come to their senses.

Hear! Here!—-what a freaking mess—-George Washington put it wel, ‘No foreign entanglements.’—-yeah this ain’t George’s world, and i’ve seen little carved in stone—-as for $3Billion/year? Ha! more ‘creative’ accounting than Wall Street—-if things were reversed, ie: Palestinians ripped Israelis, gee, guess they’d just ‘take-it’? unlikely—-unfortunately Israel’s ‘eye-for-eye’ tradition forgets Gandhi’s noting all that does is leave everyone blind—-

Creative accounting is right—that comes out of the Pentagon budget and only the devil knows how much that is.

we’ve Bigger probs than the middle east—-i may have noted, 10 years ago i managed to do the near impossible—-‘Get-Thru’ to the USGS—- my concern was of global sea-rise and subsequent effects of a near exponential increase on both my (anyone that thinks of such) hypothesis of this ‘super-mass’ increase leading to both seismic activity (quake) and more importantly increased volcanism—-and were they ‘workin’-on-it’? Nope! i just managed to reach them again, reiterating my query—-pointing to recent findings that from 1870-to-now, we’ve actually had a sea-level rise of +/- 18 centimeters—-far more than previously thought—-and when one simply tracks this rise vs. Now quite obvious seismic activity >, YIPES!—-you may overlay the graphs of both—-near perfect match—-i was surprised to get a rapid reply—-Yes they were on it! Buckaroo Banzi scores—- the risk from your typical ‘cone-shaped’ volcanoes, as The Cascadia range, is a problem—-but certainly not a ‘Killer’ blow precipitating mass-extinction—-the Big problems are the 8, or so, ‘Super-Volcanoes’, as both Yellowstone, the one in New Mexico, and Cal, Indonesia, New Zealand, etc.—-and Siberia—-the Siberian ‘critter’ is of particular interest, as its last eruption has been dated to The Great Dying at the end of the Permian era—-some point to the recent ‘impact’ crater (the Bedot) found off northern Australia—-but the data is inconclusive vs. the certain dating of the Siberian event makes it the prime suspect—-not to say a ‘double whammy’ should be excluded—- Yellowstone is the current focus, as its ‘cycles’ indicate it’s 20,000 years overdue—-and seemingly getting ‘ready-to-rock’—-you may not be ‘up’ on these ‘Supers’—-few are, as they think of St. Helens, Pinatubo, etc., above surface ‘cones’—-but i feel you will be, if not already, pretty damn surprised, as they dwarf the common concept of volcanoes—-google Yellowstone, as one example—-they don’t term them ‘Super’ for nuttin’—-talk of Huge? Frank, if you haven’t please do so—- and a recent ‘genome-mapping’ finding apparently shows, that to spite the fossil record, indicating millions of humans, reveals some event +/- only 10,000 years ago nearly finished humanity—-reducing same to a small fraction of previous populations—-and current populations rose from the few survivors—-so they look for ‘what-happened’? ‘impact’ is rather unlikely, but not the ‘Supers’—- yeah, politics is a concern—-always has been—-but vs. Mother Earth, minor—-we must commence leaving—-we simply may not have enough time to do so if we rely on simple serendipity—-cheers—-

Oh I know about the super ones esp Yellowstone and the one in Siberia—if that goes kiss this country good bye.

perhaps this data makes it easier to understand my ‘space-cowboy’ stance—-hardly an ‘obsession’, rather a frank observance that ‘planets-are-lethal’—-it truly seems the ‘physics-elite’ has ignored this—-they persist in as yet total-failure to show ‘G’ as real; while the evidence of +S and -S abound—-yet you only see -S, either far from any mass, or perhaps as explanation for higher-plant life seemingly endowed with a tenacious ability to counter +S, means, not understood. i know, this is repetitive, but i consider ‘G’ a myth, as the ‘ether’—-and mass is the source of ‘disorder’—-whether it be the warpage of both space/time, or human behavior—- i will die with this hypothesis. ‘math-wise’? rather simple—-S=d(d)m t(t)—-where d=distance, m=mass, t=time. for -S (negative entropy, shown in the lab) would be -S=d(d)/mt(t)—-any hypothesis needs ‘experimental proof’—-i fell the numerous anomalies to ‘GR’, from ‘probes’ exiting our massive system, astro-physical data, etc., etc. as such—- Dr. E. was faulted by not seeing his GR calculations were based on a ‘special-case’ scenario—-made in a ‘high-mass’ ‘area of influence’—-that tradition continues. as for mass being concentrated energy? old idea—-and he takes credit—-easy to see, if one views the human-condition as disordered via mass—- and if Yellowstone goes, we may survive, but not as any ‘techno-society’——able to escape—-+/- 74,000 years ago, the Indonesian ‘SV’ reduced human populations to from probable millions to thousands—-how they ‘escaped’? no one knows—-at this point, as always, we seem to be living on borrowed time—-we may disperse to safer human habitats—-our military spending could do this easily. we prefer to kill—-a prime example of mass-induced-disorder—-not just warping space/time, humanity as well—-‘one may only hope.’

Yellowstone if it goes up it will destroy nearly all US agriculture and a major part of its infrastructure. YOu’re right— planets are lethal to living creatures.

thanks—-one thing that has bothered me is Newton’s assumption of a ‘gravitational constant’ G—-and his 1st law of motion—-‘less outside force intervenes, an object in motion (what isn’t?), will proceed as always’.——‘perpetual-motion’?—-seems such—-although S, seen as the Very-Early ‘thermodynamic’ concept, also is a ‘special-case’ defined within high-mass, and initially ‘confined’ to ‘heat-processes’, steam-engines, etc.,—-it shows up in many modern paradigms (‘system, game, information theory), so it may hardly be limited to thermodynamics. no argument on its 2nd ‘Law’, ‘heat may not flow from a colder object to a hotter one’—-but the 3rd law has been shown as false at microscopic levels—-, but again the ‘environmental-mass’ is ignored as an ‘initial-condition’—-so the assumption this ‘Law’ applies, on Earth, only at such levels, and so everywhere, is suspect—-i’m surprised it could be shown as -S from any significant mass at all. as for ‘SV’s—-just one of list that could extinct a ‘stationary non-dispersed organism’—-solar flares, adjacent supernovae, gamma-ray bursters, biologicals, green-house, etc. it really seems we should, at the least, be ‘sub-surface’ colonizing our moon—-but what to expect from an organism capable of same, yet ‘disordered by mass’? oh well—-
By gulliver fourmyle on 01/18/2009 1:30 pm
f p
in that list of SV’s you should include us, humans.—we’re as devastating as any gamma ray burst or Yellowstone.

well, i feel i did mention it as ‘green-house’—-a fundamental element of my hypothesis is ‘resultant populations’, being in a ‘disordered-by-mass’ state, may not be expected as ‘rational’ thinkers. who would surmise, Americans, for instance, would continue ‘extinction-by-automobile-love’, vs a more realistic consideration—-yet it continues—-look at TV ads—-seems most are for cars, and hardly hybrids. actually, a ‘perfect’ solar flare, it is a flare-star, or any not truly understood ‘GRB’, properly aimed, would toast this planet—-but it is obvious something makes humanity its worst threat—-prior to nukes, as Dr. E., i would have banned such—-but ‘cat’s-out-of-bag’—-and has kittens—-what-to-do? where is all that missing weapons-grade’ plutonium, from the USSR And USA? Now we may prepare for 2-5 ‘suicide-militants’, as in Iraq, etc., each bearing sub-critical plutonium content—-let them meet—-toss-in some C-4? Boom——- more-likely are the 8 known SVs, or impact, most don’t know how many disasters have zipped between us and the moon of late—-why the SVs? Sea-level rise from 1870 to now is far more than thought, by most—-some scholars put it at 18 centimeters—-‘sea-floor spreading’, shows rapid increase, as seismic activity. frank, i’m quite certain, you’ve noticed water appears a ‘air’—-yet’s really pretty heavy—- and said weight is now pushing plates down, upon a sea of liquid rock, gasses, etc.—-and high-pressure water, is both a ‘super-lubricant’, and used to cut steel, in biz—-amazing—-i think, as sea-floor spreading, means more ‘subduction’, even for Atlantic states, but certainly for ‘the rim-of-fire’—-if we’re lucky? ‘Rock-Around-the-Clock’—-less lucky? Toba, Mono-Lake, Yellowstone, Siberia—-all pop near simultaneously—-we have no Lunar, self-sufficient colony—-so no survivors for what most term ‘souls’ to reorganize upon—-extinct. i read too much Joyce, and hence my style is ‘stream-of-…—-hard at 1st, easier later. we gotta get oughta here—-any other effort is BS—-

re: last response—-as the nukes are loose—-well, there is difference from most of D.C./Manhattan wasted, vs. mass-extinction, and We Do seem the source of greatest risk there—-as in Kubric’s ‘Dr. Strangelove’—-well, that involved ‘accidental’ nuke ‘Black Humor’, oddly rated the best comedy-film by ‘Reader’s Digest’—-the real danger seems from humans our ‘error-of-reasoning’ is not abruptly acting vs. global-warming’s consequent sea-level rise—-some nations are preparing for such—-what use vs. SV? my previous post should have ignored ‘nuclear’ probs—-it’s too late to negate current sea-level rise, we may stop it—-seems a bit late—-as ‘Pogo’ said, ‘We have met the enemy, and it is us.’
