Nobel laureate and Holocaust survivor Elie Wiesel urged world leaders meeting at the U.N. this week to walk out when Iranian President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad speaks at the General Assembly on Tuesday.

"President Mahmoud Ahmadinejad of Iran is a threat to world peace and he should not be here in New York. His place is in … a United Nations prison cell," Wiesel told thousands gathered outside the U.N. Monday to protest the Iranian president’s visit and the threat of a potential nuclear Iran.
The Nobel Peace Prize winner said Ahmadinejad, who has said Israel should be wiped off the map, should be indicted for inciting genocide.
"He’s not Hitler, nobody is Hitler, but he wishes to follow in Hitler’s footsteps and that makes him an arch criminal," Wiesel said.
The rally was organized by The National Coalition to Stop Iran Now. Protestors chanted and carried signs calling for "Christians United for Israel," "Speak Out Against Global Terrorism," "Ahmadinejad Should Not Step Foot on U.S. Sod" and "A Nuclear Iran Is Not Healthy for Children and Other Living Things."
