Elle Macpherson: A Bikini Babe at 44

wowOwow caught up with Elle Macpherson for some just-in-time-for-Labor-Day bikini tips. Read on to find out how best to prepare your body for the beach and more …  

wOw: Is there an age at which a woman should stop wearing a bikini?

Elle: No, not that I know of.

wOw: Do you have any special ways of preparing your body for the beach?

Elle: I believe in balance so year-round maintenance is more my style than rushing to be in shape for the seasons.

wOw: But is there anything we can do now?

Elle: It’s better to focus on your skin. When you are wearing fewer clothes, great skin is key. The best beach skin is scrubbed, soft and moisturized. Well-pampered feet always make you feel better and I apply the "Pedicure in a Jar" balm from my Body collection to my feet the night before traveling.

wOw: What can you do to accessorize at the beach?

Elle: Zinc sunblock.

wOw: What else makes you feel more confident in your bikini?

Elle: A smile – and a cowboy hat!

Whoah. I guess now we know why they call her The Body. Can’t she be McCain’s VP??!! She could give us National Pilates lessons everyday at 3PM. And I wonder what her position is on oil? Canola, grapeseed or olive?

Well now, why such a reaction? I AM a woman over 40 and I find Ms. MacPherson quite attractive, dare I say WOW!! Hubbabubba!! Apparently, complimenting her on her looks, I mean she IS a model after all, is NOT acceptable on this website according to Ms. Kitty OKeefe - Meow indeed!!
