Free Makeup Cherry Atop Inauguration Day

What could possibly make this Inauguration Day more beautiful? Why, free makeup, of course!
As we reported earlier last week, retail stores including Bergdorf Goodman, Lord & Taylor, Dillard’s, Macy’s and Neiman Marcus have been ordered to distribute $175 million worth of perfumes, makeup and skin-care products to shoppers who bought cosmetics between May 1994 and July 2003. The suit accused stores of price fixing luxury brands and now must own up to the customers. Some of the brands mentioned in the suit include Chanel, Christian Dior and Estée Lauder. Click here for a complete list of participating stores and products named in the settlement.
Goods will be given away, one item per person, on a "first-come, first-served basis," reports MSNBC. While you don’t need proof of previous purchase, be prepared to sign an oath saying you did purchase the appropriate products. This is the honor system here, folks — and we know the Inaugural spirit will guide you — and, hopefully, help you look fabulous!
