Hi Lovely Lily, Please see question posed to Marjorie above. I’m trying to understand what you are taking offense to.

This is satire - I think it’s funny. Gershon rocks! Funny Or Die makes some great videos, which are meant to be “Funny.” Their Paris Hilton response to the McCain ad slamming her, Britney, and Obama was brilliant. I think this election needs a little levity. Something beyond the “outrage” over “lipstick on pigs.”

End of experiment.” That was great. Hey, this is what they deserve for putting a virtual unknown into such an important position, handing us half truths and lies about her which even after they are uncovered, she keeps repeating on the stump, and refusing to allow her to be questioned by the media without “deference”. And on top of all this, the Republican Party which has fought and is still fighting women’s issues is using the sexism card while it thumbs it’s collective nose at the American people who want real answers to real problems.

The Republican party opened the door to satire on Palin’s “hotness” when they handed out buttons at the RNC that read, “Sarah Palin - The Hottest Governor From The Coldest State.” One cannot say “I’m Hot” and it not be sexist - but then- call it sexist when others take off with it. “Hot” does NOT become sexist just because it is a joke. Palin was also featured on an Alaskan travel magazine under the caption, “America’s Hottest Governor.” Clearly Palin has no issue with being perceived as “HOT.” This is one for john stossel: “Give me a break!”

They’re such hypocrites it is really sickening. I have noticed a couple journalists who seem to have had it with the way McCain is running this campaign, their audacity of not letting Palin speak to the media, the fake outrage and especially this latest ad. I heard a man on Charlie Rose say that this is the first time a presidential candidate, as opposed to a 3rd party doing the dirty work, has actually put out an ad filled with lies and that this ad trying to depict Obama’s vote that was meant to protect kids from predators as being a vote to teach Kindergarteners about sex, is an all time low and that the media needs to report on these lies.

No Kill and Drill Palin
Hysterical. Has her down cold and in a few words. I don’t believe the Kennedys enjoyed Vaughn Meader who gained fame satirizing them. We loved the Kennedys but also had VM records in the house, which were really amusing. If you’re in politics you’ll be satirized…on both sides.

Sarah won’t sit with The Wall Street Journal. She won’t sit with The New York Times. Nope, not The Washington Post either. Forget The News Hour with Jim Lehrer on PBS.. and most definitely not CNN. But she will spend time with US Magazine and People Magazine. Somethings not kosher here. I’m confused. Is she running for Vice President of the United States of America.. Or Vice President of an entertainment company? One can hardly blame Gina Gershon for assuming the latter. It appears from the ABC snippets now surfacing, Charlie asked questions worthy of America’s genuine interest and concern. Thanks for the laugh, Gina… Can’t wait for Tina Frey on SNL!

that was laugh out loud funny emailed it to all my girlfriends regardless of their politics. What a great imitation. Gina you rock! This is going to be so much fun the next 2 months for Colbert, Jon Stewart , the late night comedians and SNL.I can hardly wait. If you are so thin skinned that parody is offensive or feel like making fun is off limits you must have never laughed at Dana Carvey or any of the wonderful comedians who have poked fun at politicians for years. Hillary went on SNL and she was funny. People have made fun at Hillarys expense for years like Rush and his ilk ( the three little pig news channel Hannity Insanity) they are a damn sight more mean spirited then any of the postings I’ve seen here or this video. I think you better ask yourself then if it was fine when they did it to Hillary because she was a big girl and could take it and she was a Democrat but now that a Republican women is parodied its not fair sorry I think I just heard a “perceived whine” to this, Palins word not mine.
