Dearest Liz, There are few people who make an impact in so many lives in so many ways. You are one of those souls who just gets life and humor and common sense and wisdom and the true meaning of sisterhood. I have a great Liz Smith story that I have written into my book. It is how crying and upset that a Good Day New York producer had told me to get my bleeping hair out of my bleeping eyes, you took it upon yourself to come as u always do to the rescue of this overwrought, hormonal, sleep deprived, follically challenged tv anchor. You gave me the gift of your dear hair dresser Vincent who fixed me up and made me presentable. When I went to pay he informed me you had taken care of it. I cried again knowing that you are a truly caring, kind, observant, giving agent of kindness. You always see the good in life and those who share it with you. You always come to their defense, their rescue fulfilling their needs wants and desires. I just hope someone is doing that for you today as we honor the goddess of us all.
