I think it’s great, but people who agree will be voting anyway, people who are “anti-elite” “Joe six-pack” will just scorn a bunch of Hollywood celebrities. Personally, I don’t want Joe six-pack anywhere the white house !! ….. and my husband is a beer distributor !!

While I appreciate the the facetious tone of this message, I’m getting fed up with these near-condescending celebs ranting until they’re blue in the face as though our votes actually count. HELLO, ELECTORAL COLLEGE ANYONE? Am I the only one here who remembers the 2000 election results??? Screw anyone for implying that one is apathetic and/or unpatriotic for voicing their opinion about our obsolete, corrupt voting system by NOT voting! …meanwhile, I’m a hopeless optimist and will STILL waste my time on November 4th by voting. Ugh.

I want to retract my earlier comment, especially for those living in California (America’s only hope for progress). Please, DO go out and vote! Specifically, vote YES on Proposition 2, and NO on Proposition 8, and you are officially made of Awesome. Please, give our animals the right to be treated with a LITTLE dignity, and let us queers live in peace for once. But more importantly, the animals…….
