I’ve never seen Sex in the City, nor have I ever seen her on interviews. What a treat. Terrific voice and very poised. All that sex paid off too! Looks fantastic.

Buh- Bye
Saw her at the BEA a few years back. The men were going nuts for her then too. She was wearing a tight leather green mini skirt. I didn’t know she dated Pierre. Would love (!) to hear some of those stories, but she seems discreet.

I turned 52 in July. I don’t feel it. I would love to look as great as Kim.

I hesitate to follow such an addled comment for such a lovely woman, but she is definitely one of my favorite actors. I hear she prefers men who use verbs in their sentences.

Kitty HEHEHEHEH!!! Zing!! The zing is flying through the room. I am tagging on to put some space between your comment and someone else I won’t mention.

I love Kim. She looks great. One of the aspects of the character of Samantha that I loved, was that she never judged anyone. Samantha always came back and loved strong. People judged her and she just ignored it. Great way to write a woman, and then all the sex thrown in as well.

Kitty—I hope Kim doesn’t exclude really smart very tall successful guys who are lousy proofreaders! What’s fundamentally “addled” about my comment? Is it our fault women give away sex usually for nothing in return? I grew up in a world in which the minimum condition to have sex with “good” girls was an engagement ring.

II agree that we shouldn’t insult one another, Doc. But you do come across as very egotistical: “smart, very tall, successful guys”. How about a little humility? Also, notice I inserted commas where you failed to.

James—False humility is a conceit. My egotism doesn’t extend to defending my syntax, spelling and grammar. The 500 I got on the English SAT I in 1958 didn’t stop me from success. Well seasoned by experience I suspect all the SAT measures is the capacity to learn yesterday’s knowledge. Talent backed up by hard work, balls, and imagination rather than test scores are the ingredients for success in a free society.

I agree with your last sentence, in terms of career advancement. But true success isn’t measured by money and stocks, Doc, but how you treat others. “Whoever desires to become great among you, let him be your servant. And whoever desires to be first among you, let him be your slave - just as the Son of Man did not come to be served, but to serve, and to give His life a ransom for many” (Matthew 20:26-28).

She’s cute, but kinda young, ain’t she? http://www.examiner.com/images/blog/wysiwyg/image/helenhotness1.jpg Quote: You don’t need to analyse Mirren. You don’t need to break her down. One does not analyse Nature’s most fabulous outrages. Would you run tests on the cherry blossom of Japan? Catalogue the socio-political ramifications of a sunset? Search out data on a heron knifing into the lake? When I look at Helen Mirren, thighing her way into the warm sea, I feel a surge in me - a huge, joyous surge, as big as if I were eating a pancake. Fabulous Mirren, I think. Still non-collapsible and fruity. Vibrant in a century of dolorous decay. As cheering as a mongrel in the front seat of a convertible - or a child, twirling in new yellow shoes. http://women.timesonline.co.uk/tol/life_and_style/women/article4346108.e…
