Um, would you please elaborate on why you think this is “our kind of commercial?” ‘Cause I’m having just the tiniest (think of Dawn French’s voice) little trouble…..with the giggling little girl voice on the other end calling “big daddy” for a new stocking full of toys…. You know, wouldn’t (still Dawn French voice it) it be just lovely…. to have a woman buying HERSELF that Mercedes?

I think it’s hilarious. Someone had emailed it to me recently. Reminds me of when I had a phone number very close to a pizza place, and would occasionally get so fed up with the interruptions that sometimes would just take the order.

When my children were small we lived in a tiny town who was fortunate enough to have a peditrician. Our phone number was just one number different from his. We would sometimes get his calls in the middle of the night and always gave his number to the callers; but we once told him we just told them to take to asprin and call back in the morning. He gave us a startled look and then realized we were joking!
I love the commercial because it is funny! Not realistic at all, but funny!
