Love the visual life span. I guess I would have the front end of that a little slower since as a child I could not wait until the next big milestone. But now, it seems as fast as the XBox reps want it to be. I do want to play more, although sometimes it is difficult to find others to play with. I see the short life but precious? My pollyanna must be wearing off… Frank, doesn’t it feel funny that when we are younger age is thought in halves, like 2 1/2? But as we get older we think of age in decades.

How can we not think in decades—too damn many under our belts—at least mine lol

What decade would you like to repeat? Would you do it all the same?

Peggy Sue This would be a great question for the founders, and of course for all of us to respond to. Why don’t you submit it?

Thanks Chef Zee. I know Joni reviews these threads. Maybe she will choose that. What would you say? Luv your avatar!

Peggy Sue, My twenties were great, however, I would only go back if I could take with me what I know now. Otherwise, forget it.

Peg: what else? the 3 decades with Annie—what else could i possibly wish for. And I do it exactly the same with her except for the last day—i wouldn’t let her go to the hospital—I’d keep her home and safe.

Frank, I wish for you the peace of those three decades.

Thank you Peggy—sometimes I get a glimpse of that peace—but the pain is still to damn much at times.

Good lord! That was awful. That’s supposed to sell games?

My thoughts exactly. The message? Don’t travel like Superman at a zillion miles per hour or you’ll end up in a coffin in a graveyard. I got it; stay grounded and walk slowly.

My reaction is that I am glad had a C-section. I notice that how fast my life is going depends on where I live. In the city there is infinitely more diversity of experience, but life is greatly speeded up. In the city you live from the mind. When live in small seaside resort, a day goes on forever, everything is set by nature’s clock, and you live from spirit naturally and without thinking about it.

This gives me an entirely new perspective on “from cradle to grave.”
