Hilary Duff Inks NBC Deal

Hilary Duff will be starring in her own series on NBC.
The 21-year-old actress and singer has reportedly inked a one-year development deal with the Peacock network. According to a top exec at NBC, Duff is a ratings darling with her "huge following" and versatility.
Duff’s career took off as the young star in Disney Channel’s show "Lizzy McGuire." Since then, she’s been seen in a number of movies, including "Cheaper by the Dozen" with Steve Martin and "A Cinderella Story" with Heather Locklear and Chris Noth. Duff’s also brimming with musical talent and her album, "Metamorphisis," sold more than 2 million copies.
Duff will next be seen in the dramedy film "Safety Glass" with Steeve Coogan and "Stay Cool," which costars comedienne Molly Shannon. Good luck, Duff - stay focused and please don’t end up like those fallen Hollywood child actresses. (We could name a few, but we’ll leave that up to you!)
