wOw's Views on the News: Poll Says Majority of Dems Want Clinton as Vice President

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

Despite her overwhelming win last night in West Virginia (click here to read about it), 55 percent of Democrats and Democratic-leaning independents surveyed by Gallup (click here to see more details on the poll results) say it’s time for Sen. Clinton to join Obama’s ticket as candidate for vice president. Should Obama extend the invitation? What are your thoughts? What are your predictions?

Hillary has the skill to speak to people in the language they understand.” Yeah, that’s why Republicans, anti-war liberals and 52% of married women hate her, and why she is about to leave the race. 138 more delegates and then bye-bye. He is going to go down in history as one of the best presidential speakers like JFK and your not having the ability to see that sin’t going to change that FACT. He has rallied the HUGE support he has in such a short time because he is a supreme orator, which is the ability of an intelligent and clear mind to mvoe people. Right we really want another GWB who’s stupider than a door knob and a laughing stock around the world instead of someone who is already admired throughout Europe etc.

TED KENNEDY SAYS NO TO HILLARY AS VP: Key Obama supporter Sen. Ted Kennedy, when asked about a joint ticket, said, “I don’t think it’s possible,” adding that whoever Obama picked should be “in tune with his appeal for the nobler aspirations of the American people.” (The Boston Globe)

If Hilllary could lead as an undershaken underdog in all that she could do as president and bring our country back into the level of respect in the world, not as a fighting power, but one that is focused on a new day and order, I am behind her 100%. My bigget wonder with Obama is his swift way of denying alliances in his life, for political gain. I question the core values of someone that shifts on his feet so easily, the sands of the world are always changing, but stability for the core of who you are, is where the heart of the leader is. I am not sure he has found his own imagery in himself, to lead a country in the steps forward.

Linda Myers, I certainly agree with you about Obama as “someone that shifts on his feet so easily.” At this very moment he has fliers in Kentucky with a big cross on them that highlights his conversion experience. As for me, I am doing my own countdown: It is the flag pen in the lapel countdown, which began for Obama on May 13, 2008. We are now Day 2 Flag Pen Countdown.

>> Sorry, but I think as affable as Obama is, he is full of empty promises. Hillary is the smartest and best candidate for president — sometimes I feel like I’m one of the few ladies who feels that way — where are you girls? << Mose, I’m here and there are a few others who are walking with you on this. Hillary Clinton for president. Obama back to the senate where he belongs. If our country makes the mistake of voting Obama in for president, I’d like to see Sen. Clinton is on the Supreme Court. She has way too much going for her to be vice president, that is, unless Obama gets assassinated (not that I would want this to happen, but it is a possibility with race and religion hate alive and well in this country.)

Rachel, your post is such a thinly veiled racist diatribe on how a young black man should not be president it makes me nauseous. You deftly pointed out just how alive race hate is within your soul.

Lorraine, I totally resent your accusation. What astounds me is how people like you read something so hateful into someone else’s opinions when they don’t agree with you. I don’t think Obama should be president. I agree with Mose that he is full of empty promises, etc. It has nothing to do with him being a black man which he isn’t really since he’s 50% white. I would never dislike someone because of their race as many in this country do. I dislike the idea of him being president because of him as a man, not because he identifies as a black man. Is this clear enough for you? If it’s not, then I feel sorry for you if my opinion makes you nauseous.

What I read was ASSASINATION. I don’t know how you see that wouldn’t be offensive.

I agree that assassintion is offensive. Ask John F. Kennedy’s family.

You are so right lorraine bringing up assasination in reference to Obama and NOT HRC was a thinly coded message no matter how they wish to deny it once called on it. It is massively offensive. But massively offensive doesn’t matter when they’re doing it. I’m giving them a dose of pay-back and just look how they cry. Can dish it out but can’t take it just like their leader.

Have to butt in and back up Rachel, that was a horrible post, Lorraine. You must be the one with hate to think that way. Your post made me nauseous, knowing that is what you think of people. You should do some soul searching.
