Hillary Says 'Zero' Chance for Another Run for President (Video)

Sorry, Hillary fans. The New York senator says there’s little hope for another White House run.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-NY, told FOX News in an interview that the chances of her running for president again are just slightly higher than the chances she gives for becoming Senate majority leader or a Supreme Court justice – but it’s still about zero.

"I’m not seeking any other position than to be the best senator from New York that I can be,” she said.

Clinton was asked the chances, on a scale of 1 to 10, that she would be the next majority leader in the Senate.

"Oh, probably zero," she said.

Being nominated to the Supreme Court?

"Zero," Clinton said. "I have no interest in doing that."

Running for president again?

"Probably close to zero," she said. "There’s an old saying: Bloom where you’re planted."

Clinton also said she’s “disappointed” some of her 18 million Democratic primary supporters aren’t supporting Barack Obama for president, saying her beliefs and values are much more in line with the Democratic ticket, than the GOP one with John McCain and Sarah Palin on it.

"For me, it is all about how we’re going to get where we’re going to go,” Clinton said in the interview, stumping for Obama and Joe Biden to be elected to the White House.

The former First Lady also agreed that sexism reared its ugly head in this campaign, saying: "I think it’s part of our culture. I think it’s part of our human makeup still … There are remnants and we still see it and we have to fight it and we have to stand up against it.”

But when FOX News personality Gretchen Carlson piped in saying Palin is facing the same thing, Clinton didn’t really agree. Clinton said: “If you’re a woman in a high enough position … some of that is going to happen.”

Here’s the video clip where Clinton is asked about her presidential prospects:

… and don’t let the screen door hit you on the way out. I voted for Hillary in the primaries, but she has disappointed me. Not by losing the nomination, but by being a poor loser at the end of the day. She still has a huge banner to carry for the things that are important to so many of us. I hope she doesn’t squander this incredible opportunity.

Apparently you are unaware that Hillary has made over 50 appearances at fund raisers and speaking events in Ohio,Nevada,Pa, and many other states. She has gone wherever team Obama has asked her to, and has run and is still running important fund raisers. What is she squandering? She’s a loyal democrat and considering the money and personal capital she invested in her campaign, she is doing all she can and more. I she supposed to lie down on railroad tracks? What the hell are you talking about?

Mitzi, I appears that I did a poor job of expressing myself. Or perhaps you misread my words. What I was trying to offer is a hope that, with Hillary’s incredible voice and influence with so many, that she will continue (not squander the opportunity) to take up that banner to press for our causes in the future. I wasn’t referring to her work for the existing campaign, nor was I questioning her loyalty as a dem. I sense you continue to hold her in the highest regard, and although my regard is a bit tarnished, I still have much respect for her.

I used to like Hillary, and Bill for that matter. Now, I don’t believe a thing she says. I don’t believe Hillary or Bill have party loyalty. They are all for themselves. I have no use either one of them.

NP I’m afraid I have to agree with you. They are all for themselves—tho I do believe she can yet accomplish great things—I just wish Bill would put a cork in his fricking ego.

Hi FP, Yes, Hillary is very capable, very smart. She could be so useful. I hope she learned a lesson in this campaign, and that she and Bill both get back to thinking Party first, the people first.

Yee GADS, dahlings. No woman will ever be president as long as you turn on them the way you do. I wasn’t this catty with Bette - and I had REASON to dislike her. All this “I just don’t trust her” nonsense is laughable. This old movie star hears that as sexist code for “I don’t trust women.” Ahahahahahaha.

Mommy Dearest, First of all, I’m not turning on “them”. I have turned on HRC. Secondly, I have reason to dislike her. Third, my reason for not trusting her is not laughable. I want a qualified president, whether it be a man or a woman. But I want someone who runs an honest campaign, which HRC did not. Remember when she lied about dodging bullets in Bosnia? Remember when she fueled the Reverend Wright fire? Remember when she brought out Resco? She basically ran the same campaign that McCain is running against Obama. And actually, what she tried to pull, it all helped Obama in the end. And then there’s Bill. When asked whether he thought Obama was qualified to be president, Bill couldn’t even get the Obama’s name out of his mouth. And that is because Bill hoped McCain would win this election, so that HRC could run for president later. And Bill didn’t want there to be any media clips of himself having said yes, that he thought Obama was qualified to be president, in the event Obama were to run against Hillary later. Do you call that behavior party loyalty? Do you call that behavior doing what’s in the best interest of the country? Hillary would run for Queen if there was a slot open. Don’t kid yourself. I have absolutely no use for Hillary or Bill.

Hillary don’t say that! In a very direct way, Sarah Palin was tapped to be McCain’s VP because of you. You showed our nation that we are ready for a smart, savvy, assertive and intelligent woman to lead us. If your campaign had been staffed with those that are on Sen. Obama’s campaign, the hoopla surrounding Barack right now would be on you. No one, even Barack Obama could dispute that. I may not care for Bill Clinton any longer after the manner in which he participated in Hillary’s campaign, but I do believe she is th most capable of all the women we have that are fit to lead. It sickens me to think that McCain actually believed choosing Sarah Palin was another version of Hillary Clinton and therefore women would support her. How insulting, Palin can’t hold a candle to Sen. Clinton.
