Hillary Says 'Zero' Chance for Another Run for President (Video)

Sorry, Hillary fans. The New York senator says there’s little hope for another White House run.

Sen. Hillary Rodham Clinton, D-NY, told FOX News in an interview that the chances of her running for president again are just slightly higher than the chances she gives for becoming Senate majority leader or a Supreme Court justice – but it’s still about zero.

"I’m not seeking any other position than to be the best senator from New York that I can be,” she said.

Clinton was asked the chances, on a scale of 1 to 10, that she would be the next majority leader in the Senate.

"Oh, probably zero," she said.

Being nominated to the Supreme Court?

"Zero," Clinton said. "I have no interest in doing that."

Running for president again?

"Probably close to zero," she said. "There’s an old saying: Bloom where you’re planted."

Clinton also said she’s “disappointed” some of her 18 million Democratic primary supporters aren’t supporting Barack Obama for president, saying her beliefs and values are much more in line with the Democratic ticket, than the GOP one with John McCain and Sarah Palin on it.

"For me, it is all about how we’re going to get where we’re going to go,” Clinton said in the interview, stumping for Obama and Joe Biden to be elected to the White House.

The former First Lady also agreed that sexism reared its ugly head in this campaign, saying: "I think it’s part of our culture. I think it’s part of our human makeup still … There are remnants and we still see it and we have to fight it and we have to stand up against it.”

But when FOX News personality Gretchen Carlson piped in saying Palin is facing the same thing, Clinton didn’t really agree. Clinton said: “If you’re a woman in a high enough position … some of that is going to happen.”

Here’s the video clip where Clinton is asked about her presidential prospects:

Irish Eyes - I agree that McCain’s choosing Palin to bring in the voters who supported Hillary Clinton is insane. No self-respecting Clinton supporter would even consider voting for a ticket with Sarah Palin on it.

Sadly there are Clinton supporters who appear to lack self-respect.

I’m so weary of this election, I can’t think about four or eight years from now. Whatever Senator Clinton decides to do in future, she’ll have my utmost respect and support.

Senator Clinton, if there’s a chance you’ll read this, I would like to thank you so much for being my favorite Democrat who has run since Shirley Chisolm. Your husband and Al Gore got aced out there, I hope you’ll note. I would like to say that IMHO, there hasn’t been a more accomplished, articulate, gifted public speaker since JFK, and before that, Franklin and Eleanor Roosevelt. Your talents honor us.
