A very sexy cougar is giving a handsome cub another chance.

So says US Weekly, who reported Tuesday that Jennifer Aniston and her younger ex-boyfriend, singer John Mayer, had a "very public date" at a concert on Friday in Boston and then jetted off to New York City to spend the weekend together. Today, Page Six reports that they were spotted together and kissing at LAX airport on Monday.

Aniston, 39 and Mayer, 30, dated for about five months until calling it quits in August. While reports conflict as to which one ended the relationship and why, the two seemingly remained friends post-breakup. However, shortly after the split, Mayer told People magazine that the chemistry wasn’t right between them and that he broke up with Aniston to stop wasting her time. Friends reportedly close to Aniston told MSNBC a different story though. Unnamed sources said that Aniston broke up with him — citing that Mayer was childish and "Jen was tired of paying for everything."
