Jennifer Aniston Turning 40, a Gray-Haired Beauty?

Jennifer Aniston, a gray-haired beauty?

The former "Friends" star turns 40 next Wednesday and insists that, while she’s not normally upset about getting older, she was a bit thrown off when she spotted a long, gray strand of hair on her pretty head.

"I found a really long, gray hair, and it kind of flipped me out," Aniston said on "The Ellen DeGeneres Show," which airs today. "It’s not my first, but it’s the fact that it was so long. I was like, ‘Oh that’s been there. How many others are there, and what does that mean? It actually brought me to tears, slightly."

Aniston, don’t cry! You’re positively stunning! And that body of yours leaves us speechless. Whenever you’re feeling gloomy about the beautiful process of aging, just take a peek at that risqué GQ magazine cover, the one of you looking fit, fab, beautiful — and seemingly wearing only a necktie …

Let’s welcome Jen into our world! Send her your happy birthday wishes below!

Happy Birthday, Jenn! Glad you made it. Gray hairs come and go, but your spunky talent and flair for the fabulous will keep on keeping on forever. Many happy returns.

Oh Jen can I relate. The first gray hair is scary! But….after two or three you realize it means nothing. You can embrace them and go totally gray as some women do, or cling to a more youthful appearance via dying. It’s that wonderful time in your life when you make the ultimate decision, “how will I show myself to the world?” I love it.

happy birthday, but it’s a shame that for all the money you spend on your hair, your stylist let a gray one slip through!

Oh please…with the world turned upside down and people worrying about whether they will survive for the next two weeks…Jennifer Aniston’s long gray hair has brought her to tears? and that observation has so much value that we are suppose to sit here and become one with her angst? How much money does this woman have in the bank? and how did her highlight guy miss it. Also folks with about $50 million in the bank account, which one of us could not be fabulous and toned…and even spunky…as you can tell Jennifer Aniston does not do it for me…Seemingly a woman whose lifestyle on its face doesn’t seem to do a lot for the rest of the planet …now being praised for the most superficial of qualities…taking care of her looks…yawn!

I whole-heartedly agree with you. I think the tear stemmed from the fact that she realized she was getting older and she isn’t satisifed with her life. She’s 40 and has had a successful acting career, but what she’s expressed on more than one occasion that she really wants children — and probably a usband. She “lost” Brad and is fully aware that he now has 3 natural children and 3 adopted children and it has got to upset her. She is now linked with a man who is 9 years younger than she is and focused predominantly on his career. Like you said, she has plenty of money, perhaps she should take some time off and nourish her soul by giving back to the planet, community, etc. She could even adopt a baby or 2 and dedicate herself to raising it. When you do something for someone else, quite often it results in doing a great a deal for yourself.

I agree, Lucinda. I feel so incredibly fortunate in my life that I would feel incredibly self conscious complaining about my age or my loks to anyone ever. And I am not a famous actress, rich, thin or a size 4.

Lucinda, when I knew her she didn’t want children and Brad did. That was the dividing argument then. But I think she’ll get tired of the toy boy and probably find someone appropriate sometime along the line. Fame & fortune often screws people up big time, and she’s just a bit diverted by the fame part.

Patrice, Interesting that you knew her — I remember there was speculation that the marriage dissolved over whether or not to have children. She recently commented that she thinks that she is meant to have children and is confident that she will. She may be 40, but she looks like she’s 25 She’s had a pretty successful run and I guess she’s been loathe to give it up. — I guess the grey hair was a reminder that time marches on, whether you like it or not. Her clock is ticking loudly regardless. She seems like a nice girl and I think she supports several charities, but I don’t know whether it is anything more than lending her name. She may need to get off the treadmill and do something that is spiritually substantive.

Forty-Scmorty….who cares? Gray hair is what God gives you as a merit badge!

Jeez, Micky, I don’t even remember my first “merit badge.” It must’ve been a wake up call, though, because I colored my hair a different color and have never stopped since then, whenever it was.

I agree with Lucinda! She hasn’t really shown much interest in being charitable, which is what I admired about Angelina before she started having all those babies. Jen could easily adopt if she really wants children instead of wasting her time trying to be perfect and dating around. But happy birthday anyway, Jen, 40 is a great age! Congratulations!
