Jennifer Aniston’s simple, sleek hairstyle may appear to be easy to maintain, but according to reporters, Aniston’s locks are anything but effortless.

According to the Daily Mail, the 40-year-old actress spent about $50,000 on her hair for the Paris and London premieres of "Marley & Me."

The $50,000 Hair Bill Includes:

$12,555: Treating her hairdresser Chris McMillan to a seven-day, all-expenses-paid stay at several luxurious hotels throughout Europe;

$18,079.20: Her hairdresser’s first-class flight from Los Angeles to London;

$12,6554.40: Seven days of McMillan’s "tress-teasing expertise";

$5,022: Flying him on a private jet trip to Paris for a "Marley & Me" red-carpet premiere.

It seems excessive to me but it is her money and none of our business what she does with it!

Christie, that is the best comment yet!

You got to be a conservative.

We are the only ones who think this is not a big deal!

If Jen wants to spend her hard earned money on this who are we to say anything negative about it?

Its her money liberals!

I am actually not a conservative.  I don’t vote a particular party line I just vote common sense.  There are many "liberal" ideas that I embrace as well as some conservative ones.  I am not a fan of anything that is devisive and I believe that the liberal v. conservative notion is devisive. Respecting each other and working together is more important than being right.

I concur Christie…how anyone spends their own money is none of our business.  But I have to wonder why this ‘hairstory’ (ha!) is being reported now.  Is Aniston the very first Hollywood actress to tote her own hair/makeup people with her as she travels around the world?  I would guess not…is it being presented as a ‘class envy’ type thing for the excesses of the rich?  Maybe…I just find it odd that it would be reported with such exacting, expense account ready detail.

Easy come! Easy Go!  I presume her hair stylist appreciates her.

For me I won’t spend that much money but it’s her money.

How long is she going to try to look like the college girl on spring break?  It isn’t working. She has certain facial features that are intensified by the hair draping down the sides of her face and dripping over her shoulders.  Surely there could be some change that would improve not only her looks but actually improve her career.  She always seems so pleasant and likeable. I have enjoyed her for lots of years but "Friends" is over and it is now 2009.  Sarah Jessica Parker could stand a little hair makeover too.   50 Grand for that hair.  I agree with Beau—ask for your money back and give it to some worthwhile charity.

I guess she didn’t use travelocity or expedia! :-)

I guess this is another reason she shed a tear over her grey hair!  She is spending too much money and effort on trying to look like she’s 22 instead of doing something more substantial by feeding her soul or the world!

I cut and style my own hair.  It isn’t very classy but I don’t charge myself anything.  If I had her money I might fly someone around to do my hair and makeup.  That person would have to versatile to be worth the expense.

It’s her money, but I think her hairdresser got the best deal. I thought she was wearing extensions; maybe she was actually. I think I’ll treat my hairdresser to a free lunch; he hasn’t raised his rates for me in fifteen years.
