Jennifer Hudson Offers $100,000 Reward For Return of Nephew

Jennifer Hudson, the beautiful songstress whose melodious voice and strong acting skills earned her an early-career Oscar, has kept a low profile in the tragedy that has roiled her family since her mother and brother were found murdered in their Chicago home.

Now she has made a very public offer of $100,000 for the safe return of her beloved nephew, the 7 year old Julian King.  The boy has been missing from his home since the murders. Breaking News: Body Found in Search for Jennifer’s Hudson’s Nephew

On a posting on her MySpace page, Hudson says, "Please keep praying for our family and that we get Julian King back home safely. If anyone has any information about his whereabouts please contact the authorities immediately."

The Chicago police have issued an Amber Alert for the boy, who is described as being 4-feet-11 and 130 pounds and wearing a striped brown polo shirt and khaki pants when last seen.

What a horrifying event for anyone to be called upon to endure. I happens far too frequently to people we’ve never heard of, but this tragedy will ring in Jennifer Hudson’s magnificent voice for the rest of her life. Sobbing out loud.
