Jennifer Lopez and Mark Anthony's Valentine's Day Divorce?

Rumors that Jennifer Lopez and Marc Anthony’s marriage is on the rocks continue to circulate. And now the New York Daily News is reporting that J. Lo, 39, and Anthony, 40, will be divorcing right after Valentine’s Day in a "bittersweet farewell."

"Marc and Jennifer are planning on announcing their divorce right after Marc’s show at Madison Square Garden on February 14," a friend of the couple tells the Daily News. "Jennifer is planning on joining Marc onstage for a surprise duet. Things haven’t been right for a while now, and they thought it would be a bittersweet farewell." Click here to read the full story.

Hearts fluttered last week when J. Lo was spotted at the premiere of "The Curious Case of Benjamin Button" without her eight-carat diamond wedding ring. She also showed up without Anthony. The two have been married for more than four years and are the parents of ten-month-old twins Max and Esme.

Why does this not surprise me? But, right now, I worry more about Israel and the India/Pakistan border as well as my lost funds in the retirement account.

I’m with you, Diana…..there are a ton of more important goings on in the world today—it is only when people are bored that some-one else’s life is worth watching and judging—kinda like those soap opera TV shows that captivated many —how many years ago?

Another splitsville in Hollywierd! You would think that these people who were so madly in love when they first got together, would find a way to rekindle their love and work a little at trying to overcome the obstacles within their marriages, rather than being so readily, to get a divorce. Most of these Hollywierd divorces, last longer than the actual marriages.

I was wondering when Wow would post this news. It is only sad news because of the birth of their twins. No one seems to want to work out relationships. They just move on to new players—especially as Elaine said in Hollywierd.

Just finished reading the Carrie Fisher book, Wishful Drinking, the children of the stars have lived with this craziness for a great many years. In her case she had a lot of problems. Hope their children make out better.

One wonders if they are capable of working out a duet in a concert as a bittersweet farewell, why are they not capable of working out their differences in real life? Sometimes I think we regular folk have more exciting lives. We stare global warming, mortgages, lost finances and uncertain futures in the eye and continue on, working out our troubles.

I don’t believe a word of the rumor. There are any number of reasons she didn’t have on her wedding ring. But having gone through that debacle of a romance with Ben, JLo knows how to get the media’s attention…I think she wanted them to look at her in a new way and she wanted to get back to her career…so give them a little somethin somethin to talk about, speculate about. Marc is the best thing that ever happen to her…they have the same cultural background and he is not afraid of her fame and I really believe that she is proud that he is such a stupendous artist. They compliment each other and they are not breaking up….period!

I think Jenn got what she wanted from Marc, babies…She is done with skelator and his controlling ways. I heard that he has to be in control of everything. He goes through their cell phone bills to look to see who was called, he goes through her clothes and all her purchases. The last time I checked J. Lo doesnt need Marc’s money…I am glad she is leaving him, if that is what she is really doing. They had a romance before and she left and then went back to him after Ben, maybe now she will be rid of him for good.

Doesn’t that keep her on track to be this generations Liz Taylor? Any bets on who she’ll marry twice…

No, but she should learn a lesson and what gos around, comes around. She had a relationship w/Marc while he was still married and a wedding just 5 days after his divorice. How your relationship begins is how it ends!!! And the same will happen with angelina and brad.

lemon-lemon: I agree with you, only angelina and whats-his-face aren’t married. They just have 3 illegitimate children, and they will be the ones to suffer. What goes around comes around!

Wow, I didn’t see this one coming. I thought they were so in love. If this is true I have lost all respect for them both. To know your marriage is on the rocks yet choose to bring children in the world is just irresponsible in my opinion.
