Joan Ganz Cooney Cautions George Bush

Joan Ganz Cooney
I hope he disappears from view which, oddly enough, I think he has the good taste to do until he writes a book, and then we’ll be subjected to all those silly defensive interviews again.

Who will write the book for him?

Who will read it to him? Oh, that’s not nice either, Laura is there.

Someone from Grade 3 so that it seems reasonably authentic. OK, that was mean. Much as I believe he was the worst president in American history and am glad he is gone, I felt a strange sort of melancholy for him at the end. He was woefully under-qualified and overmatched…and only at the end did he really seem to begin to understand that.

My hats off to our past president. You were all safe for many years after 9/11, so get off his back. AT

Though he was certainly NOT my favorite as a president, I was furious with the bad taste of some of the booing that occurred at the inauguration. But when it comes to what he should do like Joan I wish he would go back into the woodwork in Texas and stay there!

Why is it that so many of you on this site, can do nothing but bash, debase others. You display nothing but hate. It accomplishes nothing. Problems of this nation will only be solved when ideas are discussed, to find solutions.

Not all Rober, but many of us felt he did not care about the voters at all.

I’m glad Bush is gone, unfortunately, he’s back here in Texas. However, I did think he behaved decently yesterday at the inauguration. He had nothing but praise for President Obama. I think he is quite relieved to be finished in Washington, and happy to be going home. I, for one, am very happy that he’s gone, and so excited to have an intelligent, level headed, reasonable man as President who has our best interests at heart.
