Joan Ganz Cooney's Fortunate Health Care
In response to: In the discussion on health care, everyone laments they can no longer have a great relationship with their doctor. Do you?
I’ve been very lucky, I guess. I’ve always had good relationships with my doctors. I don’t know what it’s like for people who have stringent insurance policies that won’t permit them to see the doctor of their choice. I can easily change doctors if I don’t like one. It’s very difficult for us who are in fortunate circumstances to know what it’s like for the many people who don’t have insurance or have highly restrictive policies.
