You can make a book your own. A Kindle
looks like something you find in an I.C.U. You can’t spill coffee on it, scribble on it or stick colored flags on the bits you like. And — if you only need one, how in hell do you furnish a room?

You can also read a book in the tub, drop it, use it to prop up your wobbly desk, even run over it and it’ll still work. And no need for batteries.
That said… I’ve been reading books in bed using my iPhone: no need for a reading light to disturb the hubby!
