Joe the Plumber to Become Joe the Country Singer?

By The Staff at wowOwow.com
Joe the Country Singer?

Joe the Plumber is refusing to flush away his 15 minutes of fame.

Samuel Joseph Wurzelbacher, "Joe the Plumber," the bald guy who seemed to be the main focus of the third and final presidential debate, is now pursuing a career in the music industry, according to published reports today. The man, who has become the symbol of your average "Joe," has built himself a nifty entourage – including manager Bobby Roberts and publicist Jim Della Croce – who are working to help him launch a singing career.

Wurzelbacher’s small-screen debut began when he was caught on camera challenging Barack Obama on his tax plan. Lately, he has been seen campaigning for John McCain and his name has been used by the Republican camp as an example of someone who would benefit from McCain’s tax plan and suffer financial losses under rival Barack Obama’s.

Won’t make is as a country singer - looks awful in cowboy hat. Or maybe his head is just too big for this one. Besides, thought he was running for office, this guy can’t stay with anything for long. No wonder he didn’t have his plumbers license, he changes jobs too often

Oh, I don’t know. If he doesn’t do “rap” I could give it a listen. :) I remember the first time I saw Elvis! He was just starting his career and was traveling with Johnny Cash. When Johnny Cash introduced him there was a guy sitting behind me — and I quote him.—“With those sideburns - he’s a hick, he won’t make it.” Well, then he sang and then he moved. The rest is history! Ya just never know.

But Elvis and Cash were talented musicians with something to SAY. That was also back when country music was a legitimate genre of artistic expression, before it turned into this JOKE that glorifies redneck mentality and politics, in which anyone with an obnoxious twang can apparently qualify to take part.

He’ll fit right in with those vanilla corporate Nashville types who have stolen Country Music. Shoot, it’ll probably be inducted into the Grand Ole’ Opry by summer.

Sorry, I hit submit too quickly. I did not mean to refer to this man as ‘it’. I meant to type ‘he’ll’ Really.

I wonder how desperate McCain can get……… I saw “Joe the Plumber” on the Campaign trail. Actually talking about stuff he knows absolutely nothing about. What in gods name does he know about Israel. If I were a Republican I would be so embarassed…………..actually being an American makes me feel shame for this kind of phoney baloney.

McCain can pick them, first Palin, now Joe. They both get to talk about things they know nothing about. It is getting embarassing for the country.
