Joe the Plumber: McCain Made Me Feel 'Dirty' (Audio)

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

Joe “The Plumber” Wurzelbacher doesn’t have much love for John McCain.

Wurzelbacher – who McCain turned into a working-class hero during the campaign – told conservative radio host Glenn Beck yesterday that he felt “dirty” during his time on the trail with McCain. “I honestly felt even more dirty after I had been on the campaign trail and seen some things that take place,” said Wurzelbacher, “It was scary, man.” The experience may have frightened him, but not as much as an Obama presidency, he said, which is why he kept up appearances with McCain. And it wasn’t always easy.

Wurzelbacher also told Beck that he had asked McCain questions about the government bailout and definitely didn’t like what he heard, “[His answers] appalled me, absolutely. You know, I was angry. In fact, I wanted to get off the bus after I talked to him.” There was one bright light on the road, however: Sarah Palin, whom Wurzelbacher showered with praise:

I only got to spend a short amount of time with her but, you know, it has been asked if I felt any presence when I was with John McCain or Barack Obama. You know, with Sarah Palin, I don’t want to say I felt a presence but she definitely had energy and she definitely went to work for American people, and it disgusts me on how often they try to bash her just for her sincerity. It’s just, you know, she really wants to work for America and I mean, I wish people would listen to her and let them, and let her work for us. You know, she wants to serve us. She’s not looking for power.

In case you’re wondering why Wurzelbacher’s rehashing bad memories, the answer’s simple: he has a book coming out later this month. It’s called Joe the Plumber: Fighting for the American Dream. Oh,yes — Wurzelbacher’s a perfect example of a true American hero: Pretend to like a man you despise and then trash talk him in the press. Truly, truly commendable. Our troops have nothing on you, Joe!

Here’s the audio in video form. Give it a listen …

Joe boyo, you make me feel sad—I hear you’re actually “writing” a book. Way to stretch out 15 mins of fame.

Joe honestly said that McCain was the better of two bad choices. As long s he kept press still trashes him, Joe needs to shut them down with facts.

Joe “the plumber” has taken up entirely too much press. Tick, tick, tick, your time is up Joe. You were opportunistic and allowed yourself to be exploited, now you feel dirty…take a bath and move on. We all have.

I had an interesting experience yesterday that this thread reminded me of. I was in a diner. One of those that’s been in the same place for fifty years and still has the carpet and fixtures to prove it. My favorite kind. You know… weak coffee, fake creamer and lot’s and lots of construction workers having lunch. The kind of place that i figured would be a Palin/McCain (yes you read that right) enclave. There was a man and woman sitting close to me at another table. they were relatives of some sort i think. he was probably 68-73ish and she was a bit younger than that. he was wearing overalls, workboots and a flannel shirt with a big beard. she was wearing a fuzzy snowflake sweater, jeans with a stretchy waistband. They were talking at first about a church bake sale and how she was going to make some extra money by housesitting for some folks. They discussed one of their sons who was grown and disabled and living in a group home. Then she asked “who did you vote for”. And my ears popped up a bit. I thought “Here goes the obama bashing”. But I was sooooo wrong. The man said “I was going to vote for McCain until he picked Palin”. And she said “good man”. And they proceeded to talk about how demeaning to the country it was for McCain to pick someone so obviously not ready. And I thought… wow.. if this isn’t an example of how badly McCain understimated the intelligence of our country i don’t know what is. These SHOULD have been Palin’s people. But they were so much smarter than that. It gave me so much hope. I don’t think Obama is a messiah. I don’t think he’ll be perfect by any means. and our country is in real trouble. but I thank the universe every day that McCain and Palin didn’t win.

He is scum. And yet he felt this way about McCain AND STILL promoted him as the ideal candidate to lead our nation. In a time of financial crisis, with his doubts, he STILL believed he was the best option…..truly amazing. Talk about not being able to put your bias and prejudices aside. What a piece of…….

Joe sounds confused, but at least we haven’t been exposed to him groping a cardboard coutout of Sarah Palin. Silliness abounds in the world of politics. I wonder what will become of Favreau? I’d probably buy his book if he ever decides the write one.

Too bad “Joe the Plumber” is also unable to recognize that “the presence” he felt with Palin had more to do with his libido than her desire “to serve” the American people. How many days since the election has Mrs. Palin spent in Alaska, taking care of the the needs of peope that elected her to govenor? We, as a country, have had eight really bad years because we elected someone who was supposed to be marginally educated with a folksy personality. Obama isn’t the Messiah, but hopefully he will be able to redirect this tail spin we are in because of the Republican machine. Really Joe, are you really better off today than you were eight years ago? Oh, yeah, I forgot, you now have a career in the media.

All this bashing of Sarah Palin and hardworking people like Joe is disgusting. Joe Wurzelbacher is simply telling the truth. John McCain lost the election the moment he bought into the Wall Street bailout. If McCain had stood against the bailout, he would have clearly distinguished himself from Obama and the congressional Democrats as well as Bush who was their ally on this socialist fiasco. Now with Obama headed to the White House and Congress socializing the auto industry, there’s no-telling what else the government will take over. Soon we’ll have Soviet-style “Five Year Economic Plans” to completely destroy our freedom. Since Socialism has never worked anywhere, a backlash will inevitably come, either in 2010 or 2012. Then people will wish they listened to people like Joe. When that happens, Wurzelbacher will make a great congressman!

Socialism has worked quite well for some countries. Are you confusing Socialism with Communism?

From a distance Joe the Plumber reminds me of the Scottish guy with the shaved head in “Celtic Thunder”. I wonder if Joe can sing.

Now, Joe has a small sampling of how it feels to be used and discarded, as do most women who have been raped…
