Crooner Josh Groban's Hilarious Emmy Performance Didn't Put Us to Sleep (Video)

Crooner Josh Groban didn’t put people to sleep Sunday night at the 2008 Primetime Emmy Awards.
Like always, Groban beautifully registered a wide range of tones as he performed at the 2008 Emmy Awards. But in a very un-Josh-Groban-like way, the classical, opera-style star stretched the envelopo when he provided an out-of-character performance that was hilarious and goofy. As Groban, 27, sang a medley of theme songs from America’s most popular television shows of our times, viewers not only got a good laugh but an education lesson about the last 60 years in American TV history. From "The Love Boat," "Happy Days" and "The Andy Griffith Show," to the "The Simpsons" and "Friends," Groban sang an array of schizophrenic beats without a hitch.
