Lesley Stahl on 'Morning Joe' With Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski (Video)

By The Staff at wowOwow.com

She’s smart. She’s beautiful. She’s wOw’s Lesley Stahl. This morning, Lesley appeared on "Morning Joe" and talked with Joe Scarborough and Mika Brzezinski about Hillary Clinton and Israel, Ronald Reagan, Conservative and Liberal styles, "60 Minutes" and, of course, wowOwow.com. In case you missed it, watch the clip below.

Lesley recently interviewed "Morning Joe" co-host Mika Brzezinski for wowOwow.com. Click here to read their conversation.

Lesley,

Can’t wait to see the piece on 60 Minutes.  It sounds really interesting.  Loved your insight into the situation in Iran, The Middle East and Palestine.   So, Holbrook and Sec Clinton may have a good cop bad cop scenario going.  It will be interesting to see how that transpires. Really enjoyed your segment on Morning Joe.

Good interview - I enjoyed the discussion on the presidential use of humor by Reagan and Obama.

I was wondering when you staffers were going to post this. Leslie was WONFERFUL on the show and boy is she beautiful. Not just physically, but emotionally as well, she is such a class act. I loved what she had to say about the republicans and the “tone” they are setting in contrast to the democrats. It was an important distinction and one that I don’t think a lot of republicans understand is affecting how they are perceived by the masses. It’s almost as if they don’t care. Leslie is such an intelligent and thoughtful person. She has this way about her that I find comforting to watch and listen to. I for one am glad she is one of the founders of “our” site.

Belinda - "It’s almost as if they don’t care."

No almost, they don’t care. What comes to mind is Cheney’s reaction to an interviewer asking him if he was aware of the tremendous outcry, and poll numbers, against the war. Cheney’s response: a smirk that was scary, a shrug of the shoulders, and a verbal  "So?" They just don’t care!!!

BTW: You are one of my favorite posters. Whenever I see a response with that adorable little face on it, I know I’m going to read a logical well thought out comment. Although, judging from your photo, you’ve been thinking things out forever.

Thanks Chef Zee for the compliment. I wish I could agree with you in regard to my posts. I have made some at times when my emotions were on edge and it was apparent from what I had written. I’ll read it after the fact and regret saying this or that, because my thoughts had changed.

As for little Jadyn Rose, she still makes me smile whenever I look at that little face, so I have been reluctant to change it. Although I must admit a couple of my girlfriends who blog on this site have told me I need to take it down because my posts can be so pointed and strong in wording, they conflict with a little girl’s smiling face….

Great example in Cheney eh? He really did (especially toward the end) completely give up on what anyone thought. They really just don’t care and that is what is so disconcerting to me, I wish they did. I really mean it.

Lesley …  Rarely do we, on WOW, have the opportunity to say that you are admired.  There is much to be said for the positive way your viewers react to your always moderate voice - a voice that almost encourages a conversation rather than the argumentative voices who seem to prevail over the networks, making the brighter of us wanting to turn away.  You, Leslie, are the breath of fresh air that we not only enjoy hearing but certainly enjoy seeing — that combination of looks and brains is irresistable.   Truly!

Are you kidding? She is just another liberal reporter who is singing for Obama!

When Leslie was talking about Grover Norquest  she inadvertently referred to him as Grover Cleveland which was right on target because Cleveland was called "Ugly Honest" in his day. He arrived in Washington a bitter man because of bad press about his dalliances with women. He used his powers liberally and became dictatorial. Grover N. has been a pivotal figure in Republican politics for years and is known for his slash and burn manuevers. The contrast between Vin and Grover was exactly how Leslie described. Two Republicans––––two very different methods and mindsets.

"Two Republicans––––two very different methods and mindsets." … since we’re talking about Reagan , how about Reagan / Cheney ?

I love Morning Joe!  My husband & I have coffee in bed every morning and watch Morning Joe.  I wish Mika would quit rolling her eyes and sighing - reminds me of Valley Girl gestures that drive me crazy.  So I would like the show better if she was replaced by a woman with more of a brain and more grown up like Andrea Mitchell.
