Thx to all who reminded us of Linda Tripp’s treachery against a friend. Imagine taping your friend’s private words to you and then using them for destructive political purposes. If she’d have apologized and done some penance, that would be one thing. But she’s as self-satisfied and self-serving today as then. Continuing shame on you, Linda

I say leave the lady alone. A reporter e-mailed her not the other way around. She’s been lying low exactly what everyone wanted. Peace…

If anyone considered Linda Tripp (divorced, middle-aged, lower middle-class, civil servant, Republican) a “friend” to a 20 year old intern “ho” (oral sex with a married man) who was immature and inappropriate, with no sense of self-respect or common decency, and whose internship was based on political connections, and who was providing oral sex to a 55 year old man because he was President of the United States; they have no idea of the meaning of “friendship.” Friendships are based on mutual interests, none of which existed between Linda and Monica. These two were not “friends” in any sense of the word. They had NO life together outside of work, and were nothing more than casual workers. Monica was tragically immature for ANY president to become involved with; she had zero common sense or sense of decorum or sense of common decency. For some reason (probably Linda’s efficiency and sense of fair play) Monica decided she was someone to confide in. I am loyal to the core; I have been trusted beyond measure, and I have worked for a US president, HOWEVER, I also have a sense of what is appropriate and what is not appropriate, and what is the correct path to follow. IF I heard of such an escapade, from one of the principals, believe me, I would not have held it private. I would have notified the secret service, and my own boss, immediately. (Unless my boss was the other “principal” involved, then I would have gone laterally and up.) Anyone who has to ask why; has never worked for the federal government! There was no friendship; Monica was a pig, Bill was a pig, Bill put Monica in her position, and Monica put Linda in her position. There is no sense of fairness in blaming Linda Tripp for what happened; she did the only thing she could have done, which was to report what Monica had told her! Bill is a swine, whose own physical needs made him a laughingstock forever. With his wife and daughter upstairs; he let Easter Dinner get cold while he “entertained” a slut, who was the same age as his daughter, down stairs. Think about it! There is no excuse; he carried that huge Bible out of church with Hillary and Chelsea, then forced them to wait Easter Dinner while he “allowed a teenager to pleasure him” downstairs. VOMIT!!! To blame Linda Tripp for Bill’s excesses, or for Monica’s ho behavior is the height of Clinton denial. No one forced the most powerful man on earth to put his dingy in the mouth of young woman who was YOUNGER than Chelsea! Many times; for months on end! He owns the entire episode!

I think it’s time to remove her face from this site…………. She just reminds me of what an ugly person she was………. I don’t know what she is today and don’t care.

At the end of the day, all women involved in that awful scandal are someone’s daughter, mother, sister, friend. As a mom of one daughter, I felt sad that a gorgeous young woman was so insecure about herself that she pole vaulted a launch at an older married man. As a friend, I was furious for the betrayal by Mz. Tripp when the young woman had reached out to confide in her. A real friend, especially an older one should have constantly reinforced that “this isn’t healthy for you”, instead of pressing for details so that she could record it. Hopefully, something was learned from a tragic situation that wrecked several lives. Maybe they’ll find some peace, somehow.

I’m looking forward to the days of No Drama. Wow what a refreshing Change!
